Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Derrick with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

My father. I cannot associate my work ethic to anything or anyone else but my father. He started taking us on worksite with him from as young as I can remember. Seeing him work long hours in the sun made me want to do the same to provide for those who you love.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Our brand is Man Of Steel Grills. We design and fabricate custom made BBQ grill and smokers of all sizes and designs. For from weekend griller to restaurants who rolling smoke 24/7, we provide services for everyone. We also make deep fryer that folks may have seen circulating around Tik Tik and IG. We also provide grill and smoker rental service for the tri county for those who may need a grill for family event or even food trucks/trailer and people who want to make some extra money on the weekend but don’t want the hassle of dragging a grill around.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Having hands on experience and a love for grilling definitely gives an upper hand in create products for other people. I would also attribute a great work ethic like I mentioned earlier. And lastly I would saying being hungry for knowledge in the sense of never feeling like you can’t learn something new from anyone else

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

We’re always looking to collaborate with upcoming bbq enthusiasts and companies to help them get off the ground with their pits(grills)
