Hi Lei, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
When I first started, I just always knew that I liked to draw, I didn’t know what I wanted to draw or why I wanted to draw.
but I didn’t give it up.
then there one day, when I was conceptualizing my animation, I had something I wanted to express.
I want people to sympathize with me of the emotion, it doesn’t matter whether they understand my story or not, that emotion expressed through the picture is my ultimate goal.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
most of the time, im making my animation film, I always think creation is the externalization of the heart, the presentation of all that you are through artistic means, a silent but powerful communication with the world. I also teach students to find their passion or voice in expressing their art.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
keep making something no matter what.
do not wait until you think you are ready, there is hardly be one day, or a time you think you are 100% ready for it.

I always want to find some composers to work with, I think when they compose, they have a story, and when I hear their work, I have a story, and then we can develop a beautiful world together.
