Meet Sho Konishi

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sho Konishi. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sho below.

Sho , so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.

I study and teach every day, so I always try to input some new things to my brain to be creative to do output.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am an artist, designer, and educator based in NY.
My brand under my name “Sho Konishi” has been made in NY since 2019 and is a craftmanship-driven ready-to-wear fashion label.
I also do art direction for clients and teach youth to be creatives.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Passion.
Friends.
Effort.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

Always people around me. Friends mostly.
