Meet Christian Costanzo

We were lucky to catch up with Christian Costanzo recently and have shared our conversation below.

Christian, first a big thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and insights with us today. I’m sure many of our readers will benefit from your wisdom, and one of the areas where we think your insight might be most helpful is related to imposter syndrome. Imposter syndrome is holding so many people back from reaching their true and highest potential and so we’d love to hear about your journey and how you overcame imposter syndrome.

I feel that no matter what situation I am in regarding my personal life or my work life, I am in that position for a reason. I believe nobody in history ever had the confidence they were the man for the job, but they did it anyways and they did it with excellence. So while I may not feel confident and I may be nervous, I will always give it my best shot.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Costanzo Creations is a multimedia business providing excellence and new creative ways to monotony. Primarily focused in Photography and videography, we provide services for Weddings, Couples, Families and Businesses. Based out of Phoenix,AZ.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I think the first and most important quality is having the hunger to grow. No matter what you do in life if you’re not passionate and hungry to do more of whatever it is you do, it will simply end up as a phase of life that fades out. To this day I’m just as hungry to learn and grow my media skills so I can provide better quality to my customers. For the second, loving people. I love meeting new people and working with my customers. It goes farther than just being the camera guy. I am invested in my couples and my businesses. I think the love of people can drive you far. The third quality is having self awareness. There is a big difference from giving yourself harsh criticism and beating yourself up. Every photoshoot I do I am looking to see where I could have done better and I take each of those lessons in. If you are blind to your faults you will never grow. This is something that not only has helped my business but also my personal growth. Following these three steps is a sure way to improve.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?

While I love all my clients, when I have a client that isn’t looking to do the norm. I have never once met a person who is alike another. I believe our photo and video sessions should be exactly that. No one person is cookie cut and my business will not fit into a box. I love outside of the box thinking and unique sessions that fit and represent exactly what my client is looking for.
