Meet Noelle Pratt

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Noelle Pratt. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Noelle below.

Noelle, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I would say I got my work ethic from my athletic career, but also my parents. In regards to my athletic career I was a gymnast for 10 years and a cheerleader for 8. Both sports require you to aim for perfection and to keep working until you get it right. Even when you get it right there’s always something that could be better.

When it comes to my parents they have hustled my entire life to take care of my brother and I, and give us everything we needed. Watching their work ethic and their “never give in” mentality has shown me how far a good work ethic can get you.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
My name is Noelle Pratt and I am the owner of 4 Da Girlz! We started back in June of 2020 and we are dedicated to the uplifting and empowerment of women everywhere! We have a website as well as social media platforms with daily motivations, small business spotlights, resources and more! I have some very special ideas for the upcoming years so stay tuned haha

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I think for me, my positivity and encouragement was most impactful on my journey. I have always been a very positive person; I try to be everyone’s “hype woman” and I think that is what helped me create 4 Da Girlz. 4 Da Girlz is my outlet to be an informative hype woman for everyone on a global platform, while reaching out to the people who need it most.

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?
Whenever I feel overwhelmed I am sure to carve out extra time for self-care. It may sound cheesy but my “me” time is essential to my mental health. For me it includes pray time and coloring, or watching my favorite show.

Everyone’s version of self-care is different. I would advise to find a form of self-care that fits you best, whether that be playing an instrument, listening to music, meditation, journaling, etc. If you don’t take care of yourself your stress may come out in different ways and negatively impact the people around you.
