Meet Brandon Blvd

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Brandon Blvd. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Brandon below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Brandon with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I absolutely feel as though I get my work ethic from my grandfather. My grandfather always taught me to never start something I don’t plan on finishing. I keep that concept close to me at all times before I approach any and every task.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I’m the founder of The Problematic Nation LLC. Essentially, the company is a label and creative collective. This is a space I curated that is definitely driven by and for creatives. In this lane I’m able to use an art form that I’m passionate about, that being music, to connect to different people from different backgrounds, perspectives, and walks of life.

One of the things that I’m excited about is my upcoming “Son of David” tour! I released an album a couple of months back titled Son of David: A Tale of Righteousness, and I’m going on a small tour to basically celebrate this body of work, rap about what it means to be righteous, and also meet some cool people!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
For me, I’d definitely feel resilience, patience, and being quality driven are three of my strongest traits. I’m actually a Quality Process Engineer and it’s literally my job to define processes that are efficient, effective, without compromising the quality of products. This of course carries over into the music and how I feel I approach different aspects from the way I record and release music, to the way I market and organize various projects.

My advice to people that may be early in their journey is to never lose sight of their goals, objectives, and reason for pursuing these goals and objectives.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Most definitely! Currently, I’m actually looking to collaborate with other creatives and quality driven team members. Fun fact about myself, I’m not as much focused on how qualified or experienced a person is, I’m solely focused on willingness. As cliche as it may be, I believe that there is definitely strength in numbers, and that teamwork makes the dream work, but only if the team is on one accord and on the same page as far as expectations, goals, and common objectives. With that said, if there are any cool creatives from literally any concentration that are willing to collaborate and take part in creating some cool stuff, definitely reach out!
