Meet Aso Breezey

We were lucky to catch up with Aso Breezey recently and have shared our conversation below.

Aso, thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?

Well that’s easy. All I do is think outside of the box. It’s like I have to be different than other’s around me that’s doing the exact same thing as me. That’s why I came up with a style of unique metaphors that runs laps around each other with a diversity of punch lines.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Well I go by the name A.S.O or Aso Breezey. I’m an unsigned music artist that’s been doing music professionally for 2 years straight now. I got a mixtape out (Inside Aggression) with a few other single’s out on all platforms.

I feel the music scene can have me feeling all sorts of ways. Most times I feel nervous but when I get going on that stage all I want is for the people to remember my name. My style is pretty much aggressive at times but its overly hyped for the club scene. My flows just be spazzing so much people always tell me they wouldn’t expect me to be so energized.

I also have a few songs locked in the vault with some unique features and some solo single’s that I’m planning on releasing some time next year in 2025. For the rest of the year I’m in ghost mode. I’m just in the lab creating some talented songs for the world to stream. I promise to be out in the cut early next year with over 50 released songs.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

As an artist, I would definitely say one of the main qualities to have for me was to be able to connect, collab with other artists, producer’s, video grapher’s and of course blogger’s. Put your pride away and ask for help. You’ll never know who could help you out or show you the way.

Secondly I would have to say practice fam. I don’t care how good or straight you think you are. Practice and perfect your craft.

Lastly I’m going with always have a hustle. Hustle for what you want. Grind for it. It takes money to make money so Do Not Be Scared to invest in your dreams. That’s the most important part I had to learn.
If you just now starting to be an artist I would tell you “Bro go connect”. You’ll never know who can put you in a position where you wanna be. Some can open doors you didn’t see or think was coming. Also show up and show out.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

I’m always down to collab. But in life it comes with a price. I believe in myself and so should you. So come invest in a feature with me and let the world see how talented we are together. I’m also looking for some models for my video shoots or extra’s, I also need more features from artist’s and producers as well. If you’re interested hit my Instagram @Apeshitonly_Breezey.
