Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Manny Garcia with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

My work ethic is rooted in the example set by my parents. Growing up, my dad juggled two jobs for years, while my mom also worked to ensure my brother and I had everything we needed. Witnessing their sacrifices and dedication left a lasting impact on me. Today, I carry that same drive into my own career, balancing a full-time job as an IT Manager with running my event production company. The days can be long, but whenever I feel the strain, I think back to the hard work my parents put in, and it keeps me going.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I own a DJ & Event Production company that specializes in planning and performing at Weddings and Quinceañeras. Our mission is to bring our clients’ visions to life for these special events, ensuring they have a night that’s not just fun, but truly unforgettable. With our expertise in lighting and projections, we can transform any venue—whether it’s a “Winter Wonderland” or another theme, we bring that vision to life with precision and creativity.

What matters most to me and my team is making sure our clients feel supported every step of the way, from our very first conversation to the moment their event wraps up. We’re dedicated to delivering the best customer experience, so they know without a doubt that choosing us was the right move.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Find something you’re passionate about and dive in. When I first started DJing, I didn’t know much at all. But I had a deep love for music and a passion for entertaining. I began learning by reading, listening, and watching tutorials online—anything I could get my hands on. Gradually, I started buying equipment so I could practice at home. The work ethic and drive my parents instilled in me played a huge role in getting me to where I am today. It took countless hours of practice, but that love for DJing and music is what transformed my passion into a thriving business.

For anyone just starting out in DJing or any other path, I’d say this: don’t ever give up on your dreams. Take advantage of all the knowledge and mentorship available today. Practice relentlessly, no matter how much time you have, and with dedication, those dreams will turn into reality.

Our biggest challenge is staying ahead of the curve and keeping up with the latest trends in the event industry. We pride ourselves on being innovators, offering unique and custom services that make us stand out. I stay on top of new products and emerging trends by attending conventions and networking with other professionals in the field. This ongoing learning helps us deliver exceptional experiences for our clients and ensures we remain at the forefront of the industry.
