Hi Monica , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

That’s an interesting question, because I find that with each stage of my life, I’ve discovered a new purpose. As a person who is not afraid to try new things, I’ve always found that what makes my life fulfilling is helping others in the best way I know how. Whether it was as a therapist, consultant, in customer service, or as a teacher, my joy in life has always been to find solutions to the problems people may have.

Now that I have my own business as a personal branding and design strategist, my purpose has evolved yet again. I help people uncover their authentic stories and share them in a way that resonates with their audience. My current goal is to empower others to embrace who they are, build meaningful connections, and ultimately achieve their goals. Seeing my clients grow in confidence in sharing their stories and succeed in their careers is what drives me every day. My purpose continues to evolve as I grow, but it always centers around making a positive impact on the lives of others.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

As a world traveler and a current digital nomad, I’ve always been fascinated to learn about people and their cultures. I’ve been captivated by people’s stories and it seems like my life’s journey has led me to this moment. My focus now is on creating authentic stories that highlight not only my own experiences but also my clients’ unique values and stories. Through my business, I offer services such as personal branding and content creation through visual storytelling. I’m also working on developing online courses and expanding my range of digital products.

What excites me most is discovering the potential in someone’s story and helping them connect deeply with their audience. I blend creativity with strategy to ensure each brand truly reflects the person behind it. I’m particularly excited about my ‘Personal Branding in a Box’ course, a comprehensive toolkit for building a brand from the ground up, which is currently in the works. Additionally, I’m developing a storytelling course for beginners, which should be available in the fall, and expanding my digital products to help people fully realize the potential of their stories.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The three qualities that have had the biggest impact on my journey are adaptability, storytelling, and empathy. Adaptability allowed me to navigate different environments through my travels and overcome challenges both professionally and personally. Storytelling helped me connect more deeply with others on social media and what I currently help others learn to do, while empathy made it possible to truly understand and support my clients in my business.

My advice for those early in their journey is to stay open to change, practice sharing your own story, and always take the time to understand where others are coming from. These qualities will not only help you grow but also create meaningful connections along the way.

How would you describe your ideal client?

Great question! I would say my ideal client is someone ready to invest in their personal brand and eager to explore new ways to tell their story. They are often professionals or entrepreneurs who have a clear vision but struggle to communicate it effectively. They might feel unclear about their unique value, overwhelmed by the branding process, or lacking the confidence to share their story authentically. Through my work, I help clients gain clarity around their values and translate that into a cohesive brand that truly reflects who they are. I guide clients to create stories that resonate with their audience and build trust, so their brand stands out and makes a lasting impact.
