Hi LC , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

My resilience as an artist comes from a deep well of strength that has been shaped by overcoming adversity and grief. Growing up, I faced challenges that could have easily broken me, but I found solace and healing in art. Art became my therapy, a powerful outlet to process pain, confront hardships, and transform my experiences into something meaningful. It has been through this creative journey that I’ve discovered the resilience within me—a resilience rooted in my heritage, my struggles, and my unwavering commitment to rise above any obstacle. My art is not just a reflection of my journey, but a testament to the strength and perseverance that define who I am.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

As an artist, I specialize in creating and hosting upscale art events that blend creativity with a sophisticated ambiance. Whether it’s a curated art show, an immersive experience combining art, food, and music, or a sip and paint event where I guide others in discovering their own artistic abilities, my focus is on offering a welcoming environment where people can connect and express themselves. I’m passionate about live painting, which allows me to share the creative process with my audience in real-time. My ultimate goal is to expand my reach and open my own event space, where I can continue to inspire and foster a love for art in the community.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Three skills and qualities that have been instrumental in my journey as an artist and entrepreneur are perseverance, creativity, and adaptability. Perseverance has allowed me to push through challenges and setbacks, staying focused on my goals even when the path wasn’t clear. Creativity not only fuels my art but also drives innovative thinking in how I approach business and events, helping me stand out in a competitive field. Adaptability has been key to navigating the ever-changing landscape of the art world and entrepreneurship, allowing me to pivot and grow in response to new opportunities and challenges.

My advice to other entrepreneurs is to embrace your unique vision and stay true to it, even when faced with obstacles. Surround yourself with a supportive community that encourages and challenges you. Finally, be open to learning and evolving.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?

My friends and family have been a tremendous support throughout my journey, helping me navigate challenges and stay motivated. Their encouragement, belief in my vision, and willingness to lend a hand have been invaluable, giving me the strength to keep pushing forward and pursue my goals.
