Meet Donna Coble

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Donna Coble. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Donna below.

Donna, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?
In our family, from early ages, we were plagued with tragedies, from the loss of my father in an industrial accident when I was just 5 mths old to burying my mother before her time. Through it all, my family has always alluded to me landing on my feet. As I grew up and had children of my own, I now see it is unwavering faith that plays the biggest part in my optimism. Daily, things change that we no control over. Wars are breaking out, death and taxes are still a thing, however, if the people that come into my circle are happier when they leave than I have spread the love of God to them. In turn, filling someone else’s cup has always had the amazing ability to fill mine in turn.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
The Company is named Thriving thru Plants because that is what we teach people. How to live an organic life with minimal interruption from medicine. The body has an amazing capacity to heal itself, the mind has a wonderful desire to fulfill that healing and we are simply the guides to the toolbelt that many have already heard of, but have yet to truly experience.

We host challenges, such as the 21 day challenge to really and truly look at your life from the outside and see where toxic things, including toxic thoughts are turning away your abundance. The smallest things can have the largest impact, if you are open to it.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The 3 most important areas of knowledge or life advice that have been impactful in my life have been: 1. Surround yourself with who you want to be, not who you were. If you desire to become a millionaire, hanging out with broke people overflowing with excuses will not get you there.

2. Be yourself because everyone else is already taken. Do not try to “fit in”. Be weird, stand out and enjoy the experiences of life that have been put in front of you. Life is a journey, not a destination. Live it that way. Don’t wait “until x happens” to be happy…choose happiness daily, in spite of everything going on.

3. Learn skills that you enjoy, not just to earn a paycheck. When you die, no one will speak about the fact that you got up every morning at 6a to go to a job you just had to do to pay the bills so that everyone around you will be happy but you. On airplanes, you are instructed to put your own mask on first. If you are not and empowered, it will seep into every other area of your life.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
We are always on the look out for people who desire to empower others, educate others and love on others. Our team is a great community of leaders and we have several guided opportunities to join the Thriving thru Plants team. If someone is looking to improve their own health and wellness both mentally and physically and is willing to show others how to do the same, then we want you on our team. We are looking for self starters with a passion for holistic health and desire to teach others how to grow the same by example. Feel free to email: [email protected] if this sounds like you or someone you know.
