Meet Kiera Savage

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kiera Savage. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kiera below.

Kiera , thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?

My resilience is a culmination of my upbringing, personal experiences, and intentional habits. I’ve encountered setbacks, rejections, and uncertainties, but each experience has strengthened me. I’ve developed coping strategies like mindfulness, exercise, and meaningful connections, which help me navigate through my days. I’ve also surrounded myself with supportive people who encourage me to push beyond my limits.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’m a Certified Personal Trainer, Glute Specialist, and Professional Bodybuilder in Philadelphia, Pa. I started my brand NEVER FORGET THE GOAL LLC in 2020 during the pandemic with the hopes of helping others reach their health/fitness goals.

As a personal trainer, my primary role is to help clients achieve their fitness goals through customized workout plans and guidance. I provide instruction and demonstration on proper exercise techniques, offer motivation and support during sessions, and monitor progress through regular assessments. educate clients on proper nutrition, recovery strategies, and lifestyle habits to complement their fitness journey. My goal is to empower clients with the knowledge and tools to reach their full potential, whether that’s weight loss, increased strength, improved overall health, or enhanced athletic performance.

I feel most excited about being a personal trainer because I am able to help my clients and influence others to reach their goals and watch them transform throughout their journey. I love being able to inspire others to prioritize self-care and self-love.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I would say effective communication, continuous education, and emotional intelligence.

My advice would be to pay attention to the clients needs, concerns, and goals. Encourage clients to share their thoughts and feelings, be open to constructive criticism and join a community or network of like-minded individuals.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?

Several individuals have played a role and helping me overcome challenges. Trainers and professionals have shared their knowledge and resources and encouragement. Clients I’ve worked with, who have taught me valuable lessons about resilience, adaptability, and the importance of empathy and understanding. And I can’t forget about my family, friends, and my lady helping me stay motivated and focused.

These individuals have collectively contributed to my growth, offering valuable lessons, support, and guidance throughout my journey. Their impact has shaped me into the trainer I am today.
