Meet Travis White

We recently connected with Travis White and have shared our conversation below.

Travis, appreciate you making time for us and sharing your wisdom with the community. So many of us go through similar pain points throughout our journeys and so hearing about how others overcame obstacles can be helpful. One of those struggles is keeping creativity alive despite all the stresses, challenges and problems we might be dealing with. How do you keep your creativity alive?

To keep my creativity alive, I explore the vibrant energy of Los Angeles. From hidden gems in the city to the diverse art and culture scenes, there’s always something new to discover. I find inspiration in the everyday moments and the unique experiences that LA has to offer. Giving myself time to disconnect and reflect also helps recharge my creative spirit, allowing fresh ideas to flow naturally.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m deeply passionate about blending lifestyle, wellness, and activism into a narrative that inspires and drives positive change. As a vegan and an activist, I focus on promoting sustainable and ethical choices, especially through sharing the best vegan spots around Los Angeles. What excites me most is the ability to connect with others who share these values, building a community around conscious living.

My work is all about storytelling—showing the world what I see and feel with my own unique creative finesse. Whether I’m highlighting the city’s vibrant vegan scene or advocating for mindful living, I’m always crafting a narrative that reflects my values and vision.

Right now, I’m thrilled to be working on my own sunglasses brand, a project that marries my love for fashion with sustainability and creativity. Living in LA, a city brimming with energy and inspiration, keeps my creativity alive and fuels my work. I’m dedicated to exploring and sharing the facets of a conscious lifestyle, encouraging others to live authentically, stylishly, and with a mindful approach to both personal wellness and the world around us.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are authenticity, resilience, and the power of connection.

Authenticity has been my guiding light—staying true to myself and my values has allowed me to build a brand and a community that feels genuine and meaningful. I believe that when you lead with authenticity, you attract people who resonate with your truth, and that’s where the magic happens.

Resilience has been key in navigating the ups and downs of this journey. There have been challenges, but each one has taught me to push forward with even more determination. My advice to anyone starting out is to embrace the setbacks as opportunities for growth. Every hurdle is a chance to learn, evolve, and become stronger.

The power of connection is something I hold dear. Building relationships with like-minded individuals has been a source of inspiration and support. Surround yourself with people who uplift you, who share your vision, and who believe in your dreams as much as you do. It’s in those connections that you’ll find the strength to keep going, even when the road gets tough.

For anyone early in their journey, I’d say focus on being unapologetically yourself, stay resilient through the challenges, and nurture the connections that bring out the best in you. You’re not alone—there’s a whole community out there ready to support you, and together, we can all rise.

How would you describe your ideal client?

My ideal client is someone who embodies authenticity, creativity, and independence. I’m inspired by individuals who take control of their own narrative and stay true to themselves, like Ciara, Megan, Thee Stallion, Fireboy DML, Rema, Burna Boy, Jay Ellis, Victony, Victoria Monét, Tinashe—the list goes on. These are people who don’t just follow trends—they set them, making decisions that align with their vision and values.

I’m drawn to those who aren’t afraid to carve out their own path, especially independent artists and creators who are committed to their craft and to making an impact. When I think about the kind of people I love to work with, it’s those who bring that same energy—passionate, driven, and unapologetically themselves.

I’m also a big supporter of brands that prioritize sustainability, creativity, and community, especially vegan and Black-owned brands. I have so much love for Tabitha Brown, Shontay and her incredible Black Girl Sunscreen, and Kevin Hart’s Hart House, along with up-and-coming brands that are making their mark in their own unique way. My ideal client is someone who shares these values, is committed to making a positive impact, and is excited to collaborate on something truly special.

Working with people who are not only talented but also have a deep respect for authenticity and creativity—whether they’re established icons or emerging visionaries—fuels my passion and keeps my work exciting. Together, we can create something that’s not just impactful, but also true to who we are.
