We were lucky to catch up with Jennefer Moseley recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jennefer, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
Being the youngest sibling of 3, the only girl and a latch key kid growing up, I definitely had to discover my strengths at a very young age. Standing up for myself was the only option, at least in my mind. In many ways, developing confidence, even when I wasn’t completely sure of myself, became a form of survival for me. Being very active in sports and dance were extremely helpful as I was lifted by coaches and teachers, which supported my self esteem. As an adult, going through a variety of trainings to learn how to lean into my intuition, effectively communicate and listen without an agenda, gave me the confidence to step into being an exceptional practitioner. The key to all of this is practice. I fell down many times and had to continue to get back up and be okay with making mistakes and apologizing when necessary.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’ve been a spiritual practitioner since 1996 and an Elite Master BEST (bio energetic synchronization technique) Practitioner, coach and speaker since 2010, with extensive training as a psychic and medium.
I’ve lead groups of individuals on retreat to sacred locations and launched and owned two thriving BEST and healing practices dedicated to cultivating abundant health and vitality through BEST treatments, educating clients nutritionally, emotionally, and spiritually in community.
After closing the doors of my healing collective during the pandemic, I was able to continue my personal practice, course correct and create online courses, work with corporations and speak to a variety of folks about self care and stepping into their power.
I am unbelievably grateful for the grace and the life skills, as well as my relationship with my higher self that carried me during that very difficult transition. I feel better equipped to support and meet people where they are in life, work with them and walk with them on their own path of self discovery, healing and thriving. I feel very passionate about folks removing any subconscious interference, discovering their inherent gifts and using them to live a fulfilled life, as well as empowering them to make optimal daily choices in every area of life.
I am currently see my BEST clients and host women’s empowerment and intuitive workshops at Heal East West in Manhattan Beach, CA. I also host host day retreats for women in Malibu, CA on the equinoxes and solstices to honor, celebrate and transition gracefully through the changing of the seasons. Having recently completed my Yin Yoga teacher training, I will also be offering special events that include yin with sound healing and other magickal processes.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Living intentionally, allowing myself to lean into the consciousness of others and having a spiritual practice have been everything to my development, growth and success.
We must intentionally live our life, not allow life just to happen. That’s how we stay out of feeling like things are “happening” to us. Pay attention to what lights you up or at least interests you. This includes making conscious choices, being willing to learn from mistakes and a consistent desire to live your optimal potential. Make sure that you’re eating well, staying hydrated, getting plenty of rest and exercising regularly.
Ask for support! Lean into friends, family and professionals when you can’t see clearly, aren’t feeling well physically or moving through a challenge so that you don’t feel alone. A mastermind/support group or an accountability partner are nice to have in place. Examples of support (if a friend isn’t available in the moment) would be talk therapy or a practitioner that can assist you in regulating your nervous system.
A spiritual practice of any kind is key on your journey. I’m not speaking about a religion, although if that works well, do that. Become a consistent practitioner of what feels good for you; don’t make it hard! Meditation, prayer, yoga, tai chi, journaling, gratitude walks, breath work or grounding are all wonderful practices to develop. Give yourself both permission and time to rest, rejuvenate and take a break from technology!

All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?
I’m currently part of what they call the sandwich generation. My husband and I are assisting my son in launching to his next stage of his journey while also caring for my parents in a way that I haven’t had to in the past, while also continuing to work and create new experiences for both my client/community and personal life. It’s a lot to manage. I know that one of the best things for me to do is take care of myself FIRST. If I don’t have the energy then I certainly won’t have the bandwidth to support others. There really isn’t a resolution, just how I care for myself, navigate my time and circumstances as well as respond to situations. My chosen practices are what support me now.
