We recently connected with Todd Jackson Jr and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Todd, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

My work ethic comes from the early struggles of not having much growing up and seeing my grandmother work so hard to maintain a HUD apartment.. Also, seeing how hard 2pac worked to achieve what he achieve in 5 years I want that plus more. Last but not least Kobe Bryant’s MAMBA MENTALITY taught me that as long as I do my job I can never fail

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Todd Jackson Jr., born in Jacksonville, FL, is the son of Tornardo Jackson & Kecia Mungin (Brown). Jackson was raised by his grandmother, Bettye whom introduced him to black cinema, growing up on favorites like Denzel Washington, Danny Glover and even the late Tupac Shakur. Throughout his career, Todd Jackson Jr. has worked with filmmakers in Jacksonville, FL and has even worked with Tyler Perry in his hit show “Sistas”. He is the sibling of his late brother Christopher Jackson, Dominique, Greg, DJ, Damien, Wykeisha, Tameca, & Latoya. Todd graduated from Terry Parker in 2004 and from JU in 2009.Father of 3 Jamari, Jakayla, and Ty’Rell. Most Famously, I was an extra on Tyler Perry’s Sistas on BET. I’ve co starred and had supporting roles in over 14 projects all which are on Amazon Prime, BET, TUBI, and YouTube. If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

I’m very athletic a former minor
League quarterback and free safety

I’m a quick learner and writer. I give any character that I play its own character, walk, swag, personality.

I can improve on less hand movements when talking I’m so you to texting so when I kind of talk with my hands lol

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?

Learning how to deal with people in general. Everyone isn’t going to see things the way you do and alotta times there pride won’t allow them too. Sometimes, you have to wash your hands with a situation and let things be to eliminate yourself the stress which none of us need. I’ve also learn to take my time and evaluate things before making a decision the results have definitely been better
