We were lucky to catch up with Alexzandra Swindle recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alexzandra, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
Taking action . Knowing that I’m moving from a place of truth and authenticity within myself . And in the end knowing that either way the outcome is confirmation or a lesson . The more you practice the action taking part the more it becomes habitual and then like second nature . Then it becomes who you are , a confident person . Getting to this point wasn’t easy and it def didn’t happen overnight .
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I am a licensed Esthetician and I specialize in Fullbody waxing . Out of my 4 years as a professional for 2 years I’ve been a solo esthetician building and working under my brand Alexzandra The Aesthetician LLC . Along with offering services I host Wax Classes and create educational content on Instagram and TikTok . Those platforms have allowed me to explore more of my creative side so work never feels like work, im grateful for that . Seeing first hand how Beauty Schools have dropped the ball in some areas of curriculum , It’s been special to me to have a platform to educate and reach millions of people and aid as a reliable resource .
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Three qualities I feel are important and impactful along your journey : 1 Never stop learning ! There is so much to learn and life will show you even with all you know you still know nothing at all . 2 Ask for help . You can’t do it all . Through connection we go further . There is no reward for suffering when you can simply ask . It’ll bring much relief . Lastly Be consistent . Saying that sounds cliche but there all the magic happens when you show up ! Nothing will happen if you don’t show up for yourself . The payoff from consistency feels so amazing !
