Meet Martin-peter Moses

We recently connected with Martin-peter Moses and have shared our conversation below.

Martin-Peter, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

I am a firm believer in being yourself no matter where or who you are around. I learnt that from a very young age through my experiences with family and close friends through school. In my business I ensure people know the real me, the authentic me, which is by far the easiest person to be 🙂

My confidence to start my own business did not come easy. It took me a few years to develop the confidence I needed to start my business which looking back was the hardest part so far. It took a lot of support from friends and family to be able to take that big first step to start a business. I also try to learn fast and fail fast then move on with the lesson in hand. Nothing will be easy or else everyone would be doing it. My biggest advice is to let go of the fear and just go and do it. Nothing beats a failure but a try!

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

My business is two fold. Centered around my automotive merch which is designed for car people by a car person! It allows our customers to display their car passion and get inspired to build that next project car or even get into cars for the first time. Our brand represents simple, car focused appeal that can relate to nearly every car guy and gal. We try to have a broad spectrum of merchandise to choose from, whether you are into old classics, supercars, bikes or even Formula 1, we have something for the true car enthusiast. The second part of the business is our content creation piece on YouTube and other social networks, where we build cars, have helpful tips and share our insights to motor racing.

We recently launched our new merch featuring some slogans that relate to car guys and girls all over the world. If you are into cars then you will understand our tees, hats and other merch 🙂

In recent times we have also partnered with a number of foundations and have a huge Christmas donation coming soon for all the kids to enjoy. Stay tuned for more.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

For anyone early in the journey, its simple, and its two words! DON’T QUIT! It will be devastating if no one seems interested in your brand at first, and thats ok…you have to be willing to try new things to reach your target audience. When I started my business and especially the content side, I barely got any views and started to experiment with a whole bunch of new things – time I would post content, intros, partnerships with other YouTubers, and trying variable length videos to see what worked best. Now we get a fair share of viewership and continue to grow. Any growth is still progress and you should be proud of that.

Take positive feedback and also look into areas for improvement, there is always something you can do better. When I started the merch side of the business I quickly learnt about t-shirt printing and what was the best quality. Sent out some testers to family, friends and even total strangers on IG and got their feedback and went to work. So far the quality of our merch has definitely gotten better and I have learnt how to ensure our designs are of the best quality.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Since starting the business I have collaborated with a number of models, fellow YouTubers and some charities to help spread the word about our brand and content. So far these collaborations has not only helped my business but also built friendships with fellow car enthusiast and entrepreneurs.

We continuously look for opportunities to work with car part manufacturers, charitable foundations and anyone interested to help us grow our merch. Our mission is to inspire anyone, any age, to get excited about cars and to learn more about this industry, whether it’s a first time car builder or someone who just simply wants to know more about cars.
