Meet Jeremy Ramsey

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jeremy Ramsey. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jeremy below.

Hi Jeremy, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

Well, if i can be completely honest, it was this year! I lost my grandmother last year and it was the most painful things in my life. She was like a protective blanket over me. Where I thought I had overcame my own limitations of being my true self physically mentally I was still trapped from past trauma. God has a funny way of putting you by yourself to show you your purpose your unique personality and how much of a role you play on in this world. So, i started going to therapy, which im currently in, and Im learning to follow in his foot steps. Through this journey I am learning a lot about myself and some of the amazing things I have done, learned, and talent that have come from my own experiences

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am actually revamping my brand. BLK NOIZE INC. is a baby that I started 2 years ago. My brand is to showcase issues, upcoming talent, and charity to the African American Community. I also had a Podcast that was showcased on Facebook. However, due to the significant changes in my life, I want to rebrand. As you go on journey of rediscovering your identity, you unlock new innovative ideas. So Right now, I’m just doing some remodeling, and actually working on launching a nonprofit in honor of my grandmother. I am actively in school pursuing my bachelor’s in Human Services with a minor in Psychology.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Faith, Wisdom, and Persona. When you go through trials, you never know how it is going to end! I can laugh now because, as a young man raise by a single mother and grandmother, I was not your average man. Even though they are strong women, it’s only so much they could do for a young boy. So I had some feminine ways, my voice was high, (still is ) and even though I wanted to play sports and work on cars, you know, manly things they didn’t have some of those skills so I was bullied, now throughout those stages and being bless with community, I was able to navigate through the low times and it built my confidence. I learned to keep going even if I didn’t get a pat on the back, I learned through the mistakes I made and going from job to job , and failures, I utilized those skills I learned towards the blessing God has for me. So my advice is when you are down or feel low it’s okay, but do not disconnect yourself with trial because a gift is going to be unlocked and your purpose will be discovered.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?

My mom Grandmother friends Raiashley, Shermeka, Ciara, whom I also considered as family as well. Each of them played a part in my life by keeping me on track, being sisters to me and putting me on game when it come to women and dating! lol. I can say these women help put the man in me!
