Rebecca, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I have found my purpose through the hardships I have encountered along my journey. Each hardship allowed me to tap into my resilience, optimism, and growth. I truly believe in order to be a successful business owner, you must possess leadership, creativity, and strong problem solving skills while staying customer focused. Past management positions have allowed me to grow in those roles.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

We offer unforgettable experiences and help create memorable moments for all events. Whether a birthday party, baby shower, wedding celebration, or a special milestone we are there to help every step of the way. From the beginning planning stages to the on-site management, we execute professionally and keep every detail in mind. The most exciting part for me is seeing the looks on my clients faces when they see the decorations! Becca’s Custom Designz is known for truly putting the customer’s needs first and handling every interaction with care. We are pleased to announce we now offer a discount for our armed forces in appreciation of their service!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Three main qualities that have helped mold my journey is persistence, ability to take risks, and being authentic to who you truly are. My advice for other folks is not to give up no matter how far fetched your goals are. Wake up every day with your goal in mind and figure out what will help you get closer to that goal, and do it! It will take sacrifice, blood, sweat, and tears but eventually you will look back and be glad you did.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?

When I start to feel overwhelmed, I stop and pray. I have to humble myself and be grateful that I am in this situation and allow myself grace. I strive for improvement and not perfection.
