We were lucky to catch up with Tabitha Frazer recently and have shared our conversation below.
Tabitha, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I’ve always had this internal “knowing” that I was meant to make a positive difference in the world. My path to becoming an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Practitioner was far from straight – more like curves, loops, seemingly wrong turns, and near disasters.
A challenging childhood filled with fearful religious messages and lacking monetary resources and guidance of how to create more meaning and direction in my life led to my decision to leave my small town in search of something more. Dropping out of college, quitting my bartending job, leaving my family and friends to find a different life seemed like the best options for immediate change. After years of feeling insignificant, directionless, and unseen I knew there had to be more and I was determined to make a different life for myself, somehow.
With no real plan, I left Kentucky and moved to Arizona at the age of 21 with strangers who needed a nanny. Searching for a different path I quickly married into the United States Army hoping that my support would be purposeful, and it was for quite a while. Living in Germany for 9 years and travelling throughout Europe at every opportunity, I began to absorb the rich culture, foods, festivals, amazing architecture, and magnificent landscape of many countries. I fell in love with the European diversity, lifestyle, beauty and centuries old streets and traditions. This sparked a strong desire to experience more and more. I simply couldn’t get enough! After a few government support jobs that later transitioned into working within Department of Defense Schools as a Special Education Aide I felt more purposeful. Deployment of soldiers allowed those of us left behind the opportunity to bond closer together in support through a scary time of uncertainty. After 9 years in Germany, two small children, still married, and still wondering about my true purpose, we had to return to the United States. A few more moves – Washington DC and then Hawaii – one more child, a treacherous divorce, and still searching, I made my way back to Kentucky, again with no real plan, this time with three small children (2, 3, and 5 years old).
One year back at home was enough for me to know that I had to leave. I could no longer stay in this familiar small town after seeing so many magical cities and sites throughout Europe. Instead of remaining trapped, my wellness journey then began as I enrolled in my first Yoga training course through Yoga Fit. Yoga had become my source of strength and reprieve after a failed marriage and needing to pursue something of my own.
My decision to move to Colorado for co-parenting purposes was my next bold move that allowed for exploration of a new city and lifestyle. Moving to a new city knowing no one was not a new concept, but one I embraced as I soon set out to find “my people” by exploring food and beverage establishments, always searching for some hint of Europe – food was the closest thing I could find. I absolutely love to cook. Picking out the freshest local ingredients, chopping vegetables, combining spices and flavors still brings me inspiration and joy. I aspire to feed people as often as possible and perhaps will follow that passion in the future.
Fast forward 13 years, add several more yoga trainings, a wide variety of jobs, a Master’s Degree in Education, and two EFT certifications, I decided to leave my career as a public-school teacher just this year – Kindergarten – to pursue my desire to make a bigger difference. Gathering clients who are ready for a transformation into more authentic living, releasing anxieties and misbeliefs so they might be able to shine brighter than ever before, taking back their power to feel the freedom and joy of life! I believe in the power of combining natural and holistic modalities like Emotional Freedom Technique Tapping to reach these goals, releasing the misbeliefs and confusion of confinement and criticism imposed by others.
My bigger purpose is to help others feel acknowledged by offering compassion and empathy for their struggles and the energy that keeps them stuck, to break free of self-imposed, limiting beliefs. I was stuck for most of my life. Stuck in a home with abuse, stuck with harsh religious beliefs that were confining and confusing, stuck in a marriage that wasn’t working, stuck in a career that offered overwhelming defeat most days, stuck and pushing through the misery because I wasn’t aligned with my authentic self through any of those decisions. My path has been filled with heartache and challenge, tears, and seemingly impossible obstacles, self-doubt, and worry, but also with joy, adventure, realizations, break throughs, laughter, dancing, inspiration, compassion, and empathy. If I can help someone else find their own clarity and purpose, excitement for life, release of fear, building badass boundaries, and the idea of a Universe that supports us all, then I am living my purpose, finally I know within my soul that I am making a difference in this world.
One tiny ripple turns into a tidal wave of goodness. When people feel seen, heard, and honored they can then shine brighter, knowing that it’s Safe To Shine – at any age, at all ages. My purpose is to stay aligned even when I don’t know how to do something. Believing that others will help if I am brave enough to ask for help. My purpose is to hold space for others who are ready to courageously step into their lives with a “knowing” that they too have wonderful gifts to share, and that the world needs them to share those gifts. My purpose is to lead by example and to also accept my own humanity and challenges, turning those into steppingstones for healing, and inspiration, offering my personal bits of wisdom to others so their paths might not be so challenging.
My purpose is to still teach, but now my dream of bringing these wonderful healing and self-empowering modalities to a wider audience is realized. I believe every person on this planet deserves to know that they matter, that their existence is not by accident and that they too can tap into their own inner strength to shine in their own authentic expression. I believe EFT, Yoga, Meditation, Body movement, Journaling, touching the Earth, connecting with others with less criticism is what the world needs. The growing expansion of this paradigm shift is present, and many are embracing it.
When I think back over my life path, my perspective has shifted to one of gratitude and less struggle as I open my heart to my true purpose, releasing the voices and opinions of others, trusting that I make a difference with my own story – still terrified at times that I quit my career to start something brand new. No exact plan seems to be my life theme, but ultimately, I choose this journey because I am now pulled by the need to help others in a way that they have never experienced before. My purpose is to keep moving forward offering whatever I can to others – to children, adults, corporations, and families because when we can release fear, pain, worry, competition, criticism, and shame to be replaced with trust, joy, peace, contentment, satisfaction, and acceptance – we all win.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
As a Clinical EFT Tapping Practitioner, I meet with clients to conduct sessions that can address the challenges that keep them stuck. This often presents in the form of:
anxiety
anger
procrastination
fear
heightened cortisol levels
physical pain
PTSD
overall sense of worthlessness or hopelessness
explosive behaviors
addictions
grief
These are all forms of stuck energy within the body and mind, preventing the person from moving forward. I am not a doctor and do not diagnose clients but am a support role for transformation. Clients set their own goals according to their idea of self-acceptance and growth. I assist with clearing the body and mind of challenges standing in the way of goals and aspirations.
Sessions can be in-person or online and normally last 60-75 minutes, typically with weekly meetings for greatest impact. The wonderful world of technology allows me to work with clients all over the world. My own practice can include 1:1 private sessions or group sessions and presentations. In-person I currently have the amazing opportunity to lead guided EFT Tapping meditations in a Himalayan Salt Cave at Colorado Salt Cave where we are surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of Halo-Salth Therapy. I also conduct information seminars and client sessions within another establishment – Sacred Space Therapeutics where natural modalities like Ionic Foot Baths and Sound Egg sessions are used to detoxify the body naturally.
I was a bit skeptical at first with the idea and effectiveness of virtual EFT Tapping sessions until I experienced my own profound shifts with my Practitioner and Mentor, Niko Ana Jeanne who also runs Heartshine EFT Tapping community where we focus on narcissistic trauma and abuse, guiding others through a life-changing program working with better boundaries and Inner Child focus. My conclusion is that online interaction actually offers the ability to keep focus between myself and the client or group and expands my reach far and wide with limitless opportunities to share this healing process. We are all attending these online sessions for the purpose of healing and transformation. And let’s be real, if I can learn to teach over 40 Kindergarten students online, I can do anything virtually!
One of my favorite offerings is assisting with women’s wellness retreats where multiple presentations are offered to clients addressing body image, mental clarity, transitions to mid-life, and releasing that too familiar self-critical voice that can loudly take control of our thoughts until we learn to take our power back. Being surrounded by a group of women who are ready to invest in themselves for true transformation is magical! Whether it’s Colorado or Cabo, the impact of a 4-day intensive deep dive into self-awareness and self-care is lifechanging for everyone involved.
As I work with more clients and groups, the expansion of this important work could be limitless. I have been afforded the opportunity of offering EFT Tapping instruction to every child within my reach to allow them to use this all-natural self-regulating approach with profound results. Our children carry pressure from within about so many life events. Schools can be a breeding ground for disaster or success. Self-awareness and regulation allow a child to feel empowered and more centered. Self-reliance and resiliency make for a better classroom, better home environment, and better society.
Additionally, I believe EFT Tapping could offer amazing results within medical communities for both patients and medical staff. Lowered cortisol and stress levels means healthier patients who can listen with more clarity to professional advice, potentially leading to less medications and hospital visits. The combination of Science and Energy Psychology offers a wide range of positive impact, again returning to empowerment from within.
On a corporate level, EFT Tapping can be used to diffuse tension between co-workers, misunderstandings due to heightened emotions and fears, and an overall environment where self-care and wellness then translates to better communication, productivity, and cooperation from happier employees. By investing in employee wellness that is simple, easy to learn, easy to use, and effective, productivity and overall employee health will increase bottom lines.
My website is nearly finished, and I offer services under Time with Tabitha – a Creative Curations LLC off shoot as I continue to transform my niche, adding more opportunities for private clients and groups interested in using EFT Tapping and Yoga for a better-balanced life both personally and professionally.
What I find most magical about Emotional Freedom Technique is the immediate relief of emotional overwhelm. We often hold onto misbeliefs, grief, shame, and misunderstandings that negatively impact our lives creating chaos and sickness. Clearing the meridians within our bodies with EFT Tapping allows our neurological pathways to be altered creating space for more joy, more clarity, and greater success. This is empowerment from within.
My hope is to expand these offerings into so many sectors of society, going back to that ripple effect. Happier kids mean happier homes. Happier workplace environment means happier employees and bosses. It’s connected. We are all connected. Changing the world one tap, one breath, one pose, one bite, one conversation at a time.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Resiliency has played a key role in my journey. Early in life I realized that no one was coming to rescue me. If I wanted a different life I would have to make it happen myself – fast forward to today, my resilience was nurtured by many helpful people along the way, offering encouragement and advice as we connected. My second grade teacher made me feel seen, and encouraged me with her bold and authentic teaching style, accommodating, but holding high standards for her entire class.
One boss in particular made me walk around the furniture store where I worked, quacking like a duck. Literally, quacking like a duck, out loud. Why??? I had become so upset with the idea of no one wanting to purchase furniture from me that I was frozen. My sales numbers had tanked and I was miserable. He explained that duck feathers have a beautiful layer of oil protecting them from rain and water and that if we layer ourselves with oil as protection from customers saying no, we can’t absorb the rejection and can swim forward with more confidence. I have never forgotten that analogy and often pass it on to others for encouragement and building of resiliency. It’s particularly effective for children when they feel left out or perhaps like they don’t fit in. We practice quacking a lot and is helps to ease the tension, often replacing tears with smiles and lighter hearts.
Self-forgiveness and acceptance play a crucial role with growth and change. Understanding that we must remain kind within our thoughts and ideas. Kind to ourselves. I often say “grace and space” are important. We would never yell at a child just learning to walk for falling down. We offer encouragement, wipe tears, and just enough space for them to keep learning, to stumble a bit and to try again. We owe at least that much to ourselves as we bravely step forward into the unknown. Forgiving ourselves for past mistakes that cannot be changed. Accepting each challenge as a learning opportunity, even when it hurts. Also accepting our own timelines and progress without criticism or comparison. Timelines are actually a myth, but something we worry quite a bit about. So, I didn’t begin my teaching career until the age of 40 but was a better teacher after having raised my own children. Now at 48, I courageously leave traditional teaching behind and step into a new career. Still teaching, just from a different platform. Noticing the anxieties and hesitations, and then accepting this is all part of learning something new. Without a business background I sometimes back-pedal and fall down but accept that I am still learning to walk along this path. We are all magnificent creatures with unique gifts, so remember grace and space for yourself and absolutely help someone along the way when you can. We all fall down sometimes. Perhaps slower steps in the beginning, releasing the pressures of imposed timelines, to then walk a little faster, with a bit more balance, agility, and speed.
Gratitude. Gratitude can change your entire momentum. Practicing gratitude through the hard times can seem impossible. How can I be grateful for a failed marriage? I never would have pursued my own dreams had I remained married. How can I be grateful for wasting time, money, and effort on a degree and license that I no longer use? Grateful to know what it is to manage 32 little humans in one room day after day, year after year. Ultimately learning more from them, slowing down, watching how compassionate children can be with each other, connecting with my own Inner Child and returning to a simpler perspective. Grateful I was forced to teach Kindergarten online – and hated it, but also learned that online connections can and do happen. Look at me now!
Gratitude for releasing the fear of not knowing how to do everything and grateful for my courageous nature by daring to step outside of the box that I was given. Grateful for taking back my own power by living more authentically. Grateful for knowing that this adventure will never actually end because there’s so much more to do, see, and experience. Gratitude for each connection along this journey. Some connections end while others flourish, but all are meaningful. Grateful that there isn’t a script already written and that I now get to write the next chapters and be the main character in my own life according to my youngest daughter. Grateful for that message and grateful that all of my children support my crazy, amazing, unplanned journey. Grateful that I now know how important my gifts are and that sharing them will change lives. Grateful.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I would love to collaborate and work with other like-minded people wanting to bring relief on a larger scale to others. This can’t be “The Tabitha Show” because it truly takes a village to raise us all. Aligned and combined we are stronger, more effective, far reaching, and brighter! Your skill set is different than my skill set, so why not combine forces and help more people. Referrals are a welcomed way to support as I often refer clients outside of my realm of expertise or experience. I enjoy working with other practitioners, coaches, and retreat coordinators as we have so much to learn from each other as we offer wellness to clients.
Ideally, I would like to pair with others offering retreats or perhaps companies that value employees and want to pay for effective and holistic resources. Meeting in person is wonderful, but virtually is clearly an option now as well. If you have a desire to shift paradigms and release limiting beliefs around possibilities for a happier future, we should connect.
