We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Nana Ghana. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Nana below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Nana with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I get my work ethic from my Mum. She is the hardest working woman I know. She is equip with vision and full of Grace. Her strength, faith and steadfastness in everything she does is very inspirational to me.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I am an Actress/Writer/ Director living and working in Los Angeles. Ever since I can remember I loved stories. Listening to stories about my family history, stories I would hear in church and at school, watching TV. I always been a story teller, I am fascinated about how stories can make impressions on our hearts and help us make meaning about our lives.
My first feature film LA WOMAN RISING https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3576896/ is available on Peacock, Amazon and Tubi.
Here is the trailer of my next film YOU ARE ALWAYS RIGHT HERE. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CrJ5R3L7PmA
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Ummmmmmm, Three qualities, skills or area of knowledge that were most impactful in my journey? Well, I am still on my journey, and who know where the good Lord is leading me, but I am sure it will be better than I can ever imagine. looking back today here today, I would say, hard work and boldness to just create! I always use my available resources. I am grateful for the creative family and environment I have been able to cultivate in Los Angeles to co create with, to share experiences with and champion one another. For the third I would say to be able to remember to live in gratitude for the journey of been an artist and a creator of stories, and been a light in the world.
What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
The most important thing my parents did for me is my mother moving my brother and I to live in America. My mother is the most beautiful, hard working , strong woman I have ever met. I admire her and respect her .
