We recently connected with Kevin Cooper and have shared our conversation below.

Kevin, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?

My optimism stems from a deep sense of self-awareness and focusing on my own journey. After spending 16 years working with the NFL, I know what it’s like to defy the odds. Reaching the heights I did was a long shot, but it required unwavering belief in my talents and a conscious effort to not get distracted by what others were doing. I completed four internships before landing my first full-time job, but by 2010, at just 30, I became the youngest head of PR in the NFL. A wise mentor once told me to focus on my tasks and let my talent be my guide—advice that has shaped both my career and my business.

At FanEase, we’ve carved out a space that’s truly unique. We are committed to offering a future-focused, high-quality product that will revolutionize how people engage with video content. The more I share our vision, the more people understand the immense value we’re bringing to the table. While people may not be using our tool yet, I’m confident that one day they’ll wonder how they ever lived without it. That belief drives me to stay focused and dedicated to our creative process every day because we know exactly what we have. Just like those early years interning, I knew what was special in me. Soon, the world will see what’s special about FanEase too.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I’m someone deeply connected to my vision of the future, and that’s what drives everything we do at FanEase. We built this platform for the 34-and-under audience—a generation that’s spent half their lives with a smartphone in hand. They see the world through a different lens, one shaped by instant access to information. FanEase allows content creators to craft more immersive and interactive stories, offering viewers a richer, more connected experience.

While I admire the innovation of platforms like Google, their content is guided by algorithms. FanEase, on the other hand, puts the power in the hands of the creators and the audience. For example, search my name, and you might find an infamous criminal instead of the truth—that I’m an accomplished PR professional on a mission to revolutionize communication. Our tool is built to foster human connection, guiding society toward more meaningful interactions. Communication has always been at the heart of human progress, and FanEase is here to advance that journey.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The first quality that has been most impactful on my journey is curiosity. I’ve always been fascinated by people’s stories, and in my previous career, I told those stories for a living. Building real connections has been a constant theme throughout my life, and in today’s world, meaningful connections are more important than ever. Our innate curiosity about the world around us drives those interactions.

The second key is our desire to connect. While the world may seem vast, technology has made it feel smaller, allowing us to bridge distances and foster relationships like never before. Finally, control is crucial. In an age of overwhelming information, FanEase gives content creators more control over their narratives. As society evolves, data has become the currency of the future, and we’re empowering creators to own their data and shape their digital futures.

My advice to those starting out is this: curiosity sparks connection, and controlling your message will be key as we move forward in this information-driven world.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?

Since starting my own venture, I’ve realized that time is the most valuable resource. I have more of it to focus on becoming the person I want to be, especially as a father and husband, but also to grow as an entrepreneur. However, time has also been a challenge for FanEase. We’ve built a tool that’s ahead of the curve—like showing someone a smartphone in 1998 and hearing them say, ‘That’s just a rectangle.’ Our concept makes perfect sense, but we need to give people the time to understand how it will impact their lives and why they need it to enhance their messaging.

As a small startup with a powerful tool, the biggest challenge we face is that the world hasn’t yet fully recognized the value we’ve created. But that’s also where the opportunity lies—preparing a space for people to tell better stories in the near future. We’re confident that once the masses see what FanEase can do, it will become an indispensable part of their communication toolkit.
