We were lucky to catch up with Lynette Perez recently and have shared our conversation below.
Lynette , so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
How do we keep our creativity alive? Each one of our events is created differently with its own twist. We come across my themes and sometimes they are the same. So even if we have done a specify theme once we always try to make it different. I love shopping so keeping the creativity is not a problem! I really think that the decor that we add to each of our stations is what makes us different! Not to mention the umbrellas make a huge statement. We have so many different colors and designs!

Rolling Sweets Houston is an event catering business that offers a variety of services for any type of event. We offer Cotton Candy, Popcorn, Ice Cream and free Spin Candy Machines!
In the coming month we will be launching a new candy station! Where guest will be able to select a variety of candy choices to add to their goody bag! Stay tuned for that one!
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Communication, being punctual and organized! These are crucial in the party planning/ event planning world. I strongly stick to these. And when you apply all of the above you won’t have any issues and your clients will be happy!
How would you describe your ideal client?
Not one client is the same as the other. So I don’t really have an ideal client. We cater and provide a unique service to each. At the end of the day we want them to have a memorable service.
