Meet Jaclyn Dardarian

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jaclyn Dardarian. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Jaclyn, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

I developed my work ethic by setting goals . Even small ones . Everyday I try my best to set little accomplishments/goals everyday. Easier said than done sometimes, but all the little things fall into place. All of a sudden you see all that you’ve accomplished with those baby steps. It’s very worth it in the end. Lists are sooo improtant! I live by them.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

My story is a little unusual. Im originally from Folsom California. I started modeling and acting when I was twelve. I was in a placement agency in Folsom I ended up getting an agent in San Francisco when I was fourteen. I got some work when I was with the agency , but not a ton. I always looked more “mature” for my age. I’m also five ft tall, so it made it challenging to get steady work for modeling at that time. I was with the agency for about three years . Then I wanted to take a break to focus on being a kid and going to school.

After I graduated High School 2011 I wanted to get back into modeling again. Since I was always told I was too short to do regular modeling I had looked into Playboy. They were doing casting calls all over the country. I went down to LA for a casting call. They called me back. I ended up doing a test shoot at the studio, but they passed. Not too long after that I made a model mayhem profile. I booked some little jobs here and there and was going to JC.

I’ve always had a love  for music, but I never thought of being a DJ or having a career in music until 2013. Someone I knew asked me if I had ever thought of being a DJ . They were managing a pop artist in my hometown suggested I give it a try. Went to Guitar Center with my mom and bought some equipment. Gave it a shot and fell in love. I went by DJ Darcie Dolce at the time.

I started getting local DJ gigs then I moved to LA in late 2014. Not too long after I moved I met the glamor photographer Holly Randall though a girlfriend , who was an adult performer. Holly was shooting for Playboy , Penthouse , and several adult companies. Holly ended up shooting me for the adult company Twistys for a solo and from that I got into girl girl in adult. I chose to keep the adult name the same as the DJ name Darcie Dolce. I was a Penthouse Pet February 2016 and on two Penthouse covers. 2017 was a Playboy cyber girl. In 2018 I won XBIZ Girl girl Performer of the Year.

In between all of that I was still getting DJ bookings. All under the stage name name Darcie Dolce.
I networked and got bookings with many LA venues such as Avalon, Goldenbox, Sound, Academy, Exchange, Le Jardine and Time. I realized to really be taken serious in the dance music world you had to not only be a DJ , but also produce your own music. I started producing in 2017. In 2019 I made the choice to separate the DJ/ producer name from the Adult name. Thats when Jako was born .

In 2020, Jako’s first single ‘Jak Shit Crazy’ was released on Deep N Heat Records. Soon after, I had releases two Insomniac sub-labels, such as Teethy and Discovery Project. I also have several self-releases on my own record label, Love Out Loud Records. The Discovery Project release led me to  DJ at Passport Lounge at EDC 2023.

Circle back to 2020. When covid hit obviously shooting in adult slowed to or stopped. Like many people I joined the infamous Onlyfans movement. Which did very well . I’m very lucky. I to this day still use the website. I haven’t shot an professional adult scene since 2021.

As far as upcoming projects, I’m self releasing music on my label Love Out Loud . I also have music in a club scene in a Joe Carnahan movie called Shadow Force. It’s coming out early 2025.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Be professional. Be persistent . Don’t give up!

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

They both showed me how hard work pays off.
