We were lucky to catch up with Noam Polinger recently and have shared our conversation below.
Noam, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
Purpose is a word that carries so much weight among people today. especially people in my generation. As a 23 year old entrepreneur, it could be easily assumed at first glance that I found my “purpose” rather quickly, or perhaps easily. But the journey of life is such that sometimes hours can feel like days, days can feel like weeks, and weeks can feel like years. In a world that is constantly searching for purpose, I offer a different perspective…Rather than search for purpose; search for yourself. As a young child my mother taught me how to cook thus creating in me a love for food. And yet, my purpose wasn’t to cook. As a teenager going through the school system that ensures that you have a strong “plan of action” for your college and career choice, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to be or do. When I dropped out of high school at 16 to go work full time at Panera Bread, all I was sure about was that I wanted to be successful and make my mother proud. At 18, I went to work in sales and made more money than I had ever been able to fathom. And yet, my purpose wasn’t to sell. It wasn’t until I was 21, when I was let go from my sales job that I came to a realization: maybe my purpose wasn’t a job or a career field, like the system defines purpose as. Maybe my purpose was bigger. It was through months of hardship, heartbreak, and homelessness that I was forced, for the first time in my life, to look inward rather than outward. I asked myself: “Who am I? Who do I want to be?” And in the silence of my car, which I was living in, the picture became clearer. My purpose was to simply exist. To be the most authentic, confident, indefatigable version of Noam Polinger that I could be.
I believe many people live their lives not knowing who they really are; and never giving themselves a chance to find out. If I ask you who you are, you may give me your name; but that’s not you. Those are two words that your parents gave you, but it’s not you, it’s YOUR name. Then you may point to yourself and say “this is me,” but that’s not true either. Your body isn’t you. Who you are isn’t an arm, or a leg, or a chest. It’s YOUR body. So the critical question is: Who is YOUR? Who does the name and body belong to? I truly believe and can attest from experience that the answer arrives when you allow yourself to hear your own thoughts and think about what it SPECIFICALLY is that you want in this amazing life. It’s in the stillness of your own thoughts that your gift will become clear.
Finally, I’ll leave you with this hint…Many times, your gift or your “purpose,” is something you’ve been doing since you were very young. You just may not have allowed yourself to become aware of it yet. For myself, I’ve been writing and publicly speaking since I was in elementary school. It’s what I’ve always loved to do. Sharing knowledge, teaching, emphasizing, resonating, inspiring. I’ve built multi million dollar businesses, mastered sales, managed amazing teams; but nothing fulfills me more than communicating. And to tap into that gift, I had to tap into who I’ve always been: the little kid who loved writing an would win speech competition after speech competition, always able to resonate and connect with people. Fast forward to now, the always growing man, who still loves writing and sharing his ideas with the world; still resonating, still connecting with people. For those of you searching for who you are, or for your purpose, look no further than what you excelled at and enjoyed as a child. You’ve been that same person all along.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
There’s a moment in every person’s life when they stop seeing the world for what it is and start seeing it for what it could be. For me, that moment wasn’t in a classroom, a job, or even in failure—it came when I understood that the world outside of me was a reflection of the world inside of me. And if I could envision it, I could create it.
I am the Chief Executive Officer of The Launching Pad, a company that exists to do one thing: help you realize that the person you want to become is who you’ve always been. When I started The Launching Pad in 2020, I wasn’t just starting a company—I was aligning my external world with the vision I had carried inside me my entire life. From the time I was 6 years old, going door to door offering to shovel snow, I wasn’t just trying to make money—I was creating the reality I wanted to live in. I didn’t know it then, but I was learning how to bend the universe to my will, how to shape the life I desired by tapping into something greater within myself.
When I dropped out of high school at 16, people thought I was lost, that I had no direction, no plan. But I knew better. I wasn’t giving up—I was waking up. I was waking up to the fact that life didn’t have to be what I had been taught. I could create my own path. I didn’t want to live the life others expected of me. I wanted more. I wanted the freedom to build, to envision, to create, and I was willing to go through whatever it took to get there.
Entrepreneurship isn’t about following someone else’s blueprint. It’s about building a world so clear in your mind that you can see it through time. You can reach out into the future and bring back the pieces that will create the life you see. That’s what I did, and that’s what The Launching Pad is here to help others do.
I’ve built and invested in multiple 7-figure businesses, not because I had a roadmap, but because I had a vision. I made the conscious decision to create a life that aligned with who I always knew I was. The most exciting thing about what I do? It’s watching other people wake up to that same realization. Watching them stop chasing someone else’s idea of success and start building their own. Watching them realize that the power to bend reality, to create their own future, to SEE THROUGH TIME, has always been in their hands.
The Launching Pad isn’t just a business—it’s a movement. We don’t teach you how to follow the rules; we teach you how to see beyond them. We invest in people with vision, people who see a future others can’t. We don’t care about your industry, your background, or where you’re starting from. We care about your passion, your drive, and your ability to see something that no one else sees, and your commitment to make that vision a reality.
Now, I travel the country, speaking and teaching, because I believe every person has that same power inside of them—the power to create, to imagine, and to bring their own vision to life. You don’t need permission to be great; you just need to remember that you already are. The only thing standing between you and the life you want is the belief that you can create it. Once you know that, once you feel that in your bones, there is no limit to what you can do.
I speak to the entrepreneurs, the visionaries, the dreamers reading this: stop waiting for the world to give you an opportunity. You are the opportunity. The life you want is already yours—it’s waiting for you to step into it. Every limitation, every obstacle, every doubt you’ve faced was only there to show you how powerful you truly are. When you begin to see yourself for who you really are: limitless, creative, visionary; you will realize that the world around you bends to your will.
If you’re ready to stop playing small, if you’re ready to see just how far you can take your vision, then The Launching Pad is your home. We don’t offer quick fixes, shortcuts, or surface-level success. We help you unlock your own ability to transform your world; because true success is about aligning your inner power with your external reality.
This is not just a company, it’s a revolution of thought. The entrepreneurs who come through our doors are no longer just business owners. They are architects of their own destiny, creating the life they’ve always known they were meant to live. And I stand here as proof that no matter where you start, no matter what the world tells you, if you have a vision, you have everything you need.
To those reading this, know that your vision is not a dream, it’s a blueprint for the future. Stop waiting for permission to be great. The person you are destined to become is already within you. Your only job is to step into that reality, and the world will follow.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, there are three essential qualities that defined my journey—three elements that, if embraced, can take you from wherever you are now to the heights of success you’ve only dreamed about. And for those just starting out, understand this: these aren’t just qualities, they are tools for bending reality to your will, creating the life you’ve always known was meant for you.
1. Relentless Self-Belief
The foundation of everything. Self-belief is the engine that powers every breakthrough, every milestone, every impossible feat. It’s the unshakable conviction that no matter what obstacles stand in your way, no matter how impossible the odds may seem, you will find a way. And here’s the truth: you have to believe in yourself before anyone else will. The world is full of doubters, full of people who will project their limitations onto you. But their limits aren’t yours.
For those early in their journey, the most crucial thing you can do is cultivate this relentless self-belief. Believe in yourself so deeply that when the world says no, you find a way to create your own yes. Know that you are not limited by your past, by your circumstances, or by what you think you lack. You are only limited by the size of your belief in what’s possible for you.
Advice: Feed your belief daily. Surround yourself with people who inspire you, consume endless knowledge that expands your mind, and make it a practice to speak positively about your future. Guard your mind like your life depends on it—because it does.
2. Mastery of Vision
Everything begins with a clear vision. You cannot create what you cannot see. For me, success was never about what was in front of me, it was about the future I was determined to create. The difference between those who succeed and those who don’t is the ability to see beyond the present and hold a clear, unshakable vision of the future.
But vision isn’t just about goals. It’s about stepping into the future mentally and emotionally and feeling what it’s like to already be there. It’s about aligning every action, every decision, every conversation with that vision. When you master vision, you become unstoppable, because you aren’t just living for today; you’re living for the future you’re creating.
Advice: Write down your vision. Make it so clear, so specific, that you can almost taste it. Speak it out loud. Let it guide you like a compass. And don’t be afraid to dream bigger than anyone around you can fathom. Your vision is your blueprint for bending reality.
3. Legendary Indefatigability
The third quality that transformed my life, and one that will undoubtedly set you apart, is indefatigability. This is the unbreakable, unyielding force that keeps you moving forward long after others have quit. The truth is, most people don’t fail because they lack talent or potential; they fail because they give up too soon. Indefatigability is what separates legends from everyone else.
When I say “legendary indefatigability,” I’m talking about developing a level of endurance, mental toughness, and resilience that borders on superhuman. It’s the ability to keep going when your body is tired, when your mind is screaming for rest, and when the world is telling you to stop. It’s the commitment to continue pushing, day after day, because your vision means more to you than comfort, more than sleep, more than the opinions of others.
But indefatigability isn’t just about brute force, it’s about falling in love with the process. It’s knowing that the grind, the long hours, the setbacks, they are not punishments; they are all blessings on the journey to greatness.
Advice: Develop a relationship with discomfort. Learn to love the grind. The nights of little sleep, the rejection, the failures, these are not signs to stop; they are signs that you are getting closer to your breakthrough. When others quit, you double down. When others complain, you find another gear. The only thing that can stop you is your willingness to give up, and when you decide that giving up is not an option, you become unstoppable.
To anyone reading this who is early in their journey, know this: you already have what it takes. The world is waiting for you to step up, to rise to your full potential, and to create the life that only you can imagine. But it won’t happen by accident. It happens when you believe in yourself relentlessly, when you hold your vision like a torch lighting the way, and when you refuse to stop, no matter what.
Your life is not a result of chance. You were born to bend reality. Now, go and build the future that’s been waiting for you.
Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
When I look back at my journey, there is one person who stands out above everyone else—the person who gave me the foundation, the belief, and the freedom that shaped who I am today: my mother. My mom was the single most powerful force in helping me overcome every challenge, develop every skill, and forge the qualities I needed to succeed.
We didn’t have much growing up. In fact, we had nothing. We were poor, often homeless, and we lived in an abusive environment that made it feel like the world was against us. But no matter how dark things got, my mom had an unshakeable belief in me. She saw something in me that no one else could, something that even I couldn’t see at times. She knew I was destined for greatness, and she made sure I knew it too.
There were so many times in my life when she was the only person standing in my corner, cheering me on when everyone else had given up. Her belief became the fuel I needed to keep pushing forward. She instilled in me the sense that there could never be any limitations to what I could accomplish, no matter how many obstacles I faced. And that unwavering belief was a lifeline that carried me through the darkest moments.
But the most profound gift my mother ever gave me was on my 12th birthday. It wasn’t money, or some material object—it was something far more valuable. She gave me the gift of freedom. I remember that day vividly. She came to me and said, “Noam, from now on things are going to be different. You’re going to be treated differently now. I’m going to give you the freedom to create your own life and make your own decisions. No more punishments, no more disciplining. From now on, I will be here to help guide you through life. When you make your own decisions, they will all come with their own consequences, and I will be your support through it all.”
That moment changed everything for me. It was the moment I realized I was in control of my own destiny. She gave me the freedom to fail—which I did, many times—and the freedom to succeed. Most importantly, she gave me the freedom to experience life fully and understand that with every decision I made, there were consequences—both good and bad. And no matter what, she would be there to support me through it all.
My mother’s belief in me didn’t stop when I hit rock bottom, and it didn’t fade as I climbed to the top. She has always been there, standing beside me, reminding me that I am capable of anything. Even now, as I stand at the pinnacle of my career, she is still the voice in my ear, telling me I can go higher, reach further, dream bigger.
The most incredible part of this journey is that I now have the privilege of giving my mother what she always deserved: the life of wealth and freedom she sacrificed to give me. I was able to give her the freedom that she once gave me. The freedom to live without limits, to experience the life she always dreamed of but never had the chance to fully embrace.
There are no words powerful enough to describe what my mother means to me. She taught me that no matter how impossible the circumstances seem, you always have the power to rise above. Her strength, her belief, her unwavering love—it is the foundation of everything I’ve built.
And to anyone reading this, I want you to know: there will always be challenges, there will always be moments when it feels like the world is against you. But if you can find even one person who believes in you as deeply as my mother believed in me, hold onto them. Let their belief be the anchor that keeps you grounded when the storm gets too fierce. And if you don’t have that person, become that person for yourself.
Because just like my mother believed in me when no one else did, I believe in you. You have the power to create the life you want. You have the freedom to decide who you are and who you will become. And once you understand that, there is nothing in this world that can stop you.
