Vivian, we’ve been so fortunate to work with so many incredible folks and one common thread we have seen is that those who have built amazing lives for themselves are also often the folks who are most generous. Where do you think your generosity comes from?
“My generosity stems from having personally experienced what it feels like to be in need. Going through those moments gave me a deeper understanding of others’ struggles, inspiring me to give more freely and compassionately to those who may be in similar situations.”
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
From a young age, I was filled with dreams and aspirations, with a deep passion for acting. Telling stories through my acting has always been an intrinsic part of who I am. At the age of 16, I began pursuing my acting career and have since been featured in several films. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of working with remarkable actors, producers, and directors, all of whom have given me a platform to showcase my talent and tell powerful stories.
I am the founder of Vivpearl Castle Movies, a production company dedicated to creating diverse, high-quality content with captivating storytelling. One of our standout productions, The Designer Bag, is a riveting film that explores themes of hatred, jealousy, love, and the struggles of losing one’s job. Produced by myself and directed by the visionary Femi Brainard, and with our excellence Director of Photography JK (OMOBA) the film features a talented cast and crew who have poured their hearts into crafting a memorable cinematic experience. I also had the honor of starring as the lead actor in this project, and I am incredibly proud of the result.
Beyond my work in film, I am also an entrepreneur, having ventured into businesses such as perruquier and jewelry, both of which aim to enhance the beauty and confidence of women. My philanthropic efforts are channeled through the Vivpearl Castle Foundation, where we extend a helping hand to those in need, both in Nigeria and abroad.
Above all, I am a God-fearing woman who recognizes that my success is due to both God’s grace and hard work. I remain committed to personal growth and am always striving to improve myself in every aspect of life.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Passion and Determination: From my young age, my unwavering passion for acting and storytelling drove me to pursue my career despite challenges. This passion is what has helped me stand out in a competitive field. For those starting out, stay connected to your passion. It’s the fuel that will sustain you during difficult times. Cultivate determination by setting clear goals and consistently working toward them, even when progress feels slow.
Collaboration and Networking: my work with amazing actors, producers, and directors played a crucial role in shaping my career. Building relationships in my industry helped me learn, grow, and find opportunities. Prioritize collaboration and networking. Success often comes from not just what you know, but who you know. Be open to learning from others and invest in creating meaningful professional connections.
Entrepreneurial Spirit and Leadership: Founding Vivpearl Castle Movies and Vivpearl Castle Foundation required both business acumen and leadership skills. my ability to turn creative visions into reality and lead teams has been key to your success.
Develop leadership and entrepreneurial skills by being proactive and learning from your experiences. Don’t shy away from taking on new responsibilities or venturing into unfamiliar territory—this is how you grow and lead with confidence.
In terms of development, I’d encourage aspiring professionals to nurture their creativity, invest in building relationships, and develop a mindset that is both resilient and adaptable.
