Meet Andrew Winston

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Andrew Winston. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Andrew below.

Hi Andrew, so excited to talk about all sorts of important topics with you today. The first one we want to jump into is about being the only one in the room – for some that’s being the only person of color or the only non-native English speaker or the only non-MBA, etc Can you talk to us about how you have managed to be successful even when you were the only one in the room that looked like you?

Growing up in Utah has been amazing in so many ways. My parents moved here in 1992 I was 2 years old in a predominantly white state. I got use to being the only african american in rooms. From classrooms to extra curricular activities. I was taught at a young age that it was ok to stand out and be different. I have taken that apporach while leading my company for the past 3 years. I walk into networking events being the only one that looks like me not intimidated by it, but embracing it.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

My name is Andrew Winston. I have a passion to bring creative ideas to life. I believe that everyone has a dream, but between that dream and reality it can be distant. I have listened to over 100 stories of peoples dreams and goals. The theme that runs between each one is a disconnect, they have a goal and a dream but feel like it is so far to achieve. Either there fear or maybe lack in skill set detours them. I have a love to listen and come up with a strategy that will help dreams come to life. I live by this saying “Where Creativity lends itself to Unspoken Words” meaning a lot of people are afraid to put their ideas out there, with fear that it wont be accomplished. I grew up with a mom that always believed in dreams at there highest potential. There was never a lid to my dreams growing up. This started at a young age when my mom had me write down goals that I wanted to accomplish. I wrote down at age 9 that I wanted to be a Disney Channel Original movie. Fast forward 5 years later I saw myself living out that dream by being in High School Musical 1 and 2.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

To dream Big
Work Hard
Believe in yourself

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?

The ideal client for us would be someone that wants to start something but may lack the creativity to make it a reality. That could be by created captivating content for social media, or by helping them build a brand and website. We listen and love collaboration. We want to make your vision come to life.
