Meet Jennifer Solomon

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jennifer Solomon. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Jennifer, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?

My resilience comes from my faith and the challenges I’ve overcome. I believe that God has placed me on this path, and through every trial, He has strengthened me. I’ve always been driven by a deep desire to help others, whether it’s through my real estate business or my nonprofits. The obstacles I’ve faced have only reinforced my commitment to my mission—helping people thrive and find purpose. When you know your ‘why’ and you lean on your faith, you find an inner strength you didn’t even know you had. That’s what keeps me going every day.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

My work spans both real estate and nonprofit sectors, and what excites me most is how these two areas intersect to empower people. On the real estate side, I lead a passionate team dedicated to helping families find homes, while also providing services like staging to ensure their properties shine. But beyond the business, my heart is in my nonprofits—especially the Home Team Empowerment Center and the Women in Real Estate Foundation. These organizations are about creating opportunities for women and young people, helping them become self-sufficient and build better futures.

One of the most exciting things we’re working on right now is expanding our Home Team Empowerment Center, which will offer leadership training, sports clinics, and empowerment workshops for youth. We’re also launching new initiatives to engage families and underserved communities in the home-buying process. For me, it’s about using my platform and resources to make a lasting impact, not just in business, but in the lives of those who need it most

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, the three qualities that have had the greatest impact on my journey are perseverance, vision, and integrity. Perseverance was key because there were times when the challenges felt overwhelming, but staying the course and trusting the process made all the difference. Vision helped me see beyond the immediate struggles and focus on the bigger picture—whether it’s in business or my nonprofits, I always keep the end goal in mind: empowering others. Integrity is at the core of everything I do. It’s what builds trust, and I believe that without trust, success is fleeting.

For those early in their journey, my advice is to nurture these qualities intentionally. Perseverance is built by staying committed, even when things get tough—don’t give up. Cultivate your vision by setting clear goals and staying inspired by your ‘why.’ Lastly, never compromise your integrity, no matter how tempting shortcuts might seem. It’s what will give you longevity in business and in life

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?

My biggest area of growth in the past 12 months has been learning to delegate and trust others with responsibilities. As someone who’s always been hands-on in my business and nonprofits, it’s been a real shift for me to step back and empower my team to take the lead in certain areas. I’ve realized that in order to grow and make an even greater impact, I need to let others shine in their strengths. It’s not just about taking things off my plate—it’s about fostering a culture of trust and collaboration, and that has been transformative for both me and my organizations.
