Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Seline Solberg. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Seline , so good to have you with us today. We’ve got so much planned, so let’s jump right into it. We live in such a diverse world, and in many ways the world is getting better and more understanding but it’s far from perfect. There are so many times where folks find themselves in rooms or situations where they are the only ones that look like them – that might mean being the only woman of color in the room or the only person who grew up in a certain environment etc. Can you talk to us about how you’ve managed to thrive even in situations where you were the only one in the room?

Where do you get your resilience from?
My mother has always been an incredible example of resilience. After my father passed away, she raised four children on her own, never once complaining about having too much on her plate. She taught me so much about staying strong in the face of challenges, finding solutions rather than focusing on obstacles, and pushing forward with grace no matter what life throws at you. Her example has been a constant reminder that resilience isn’t just about enduring hardships but doing so with a positive outlook and unwavering determination.

Where do you get your work ethic from?
I’d say it comes from both of my parents. You’ve already heard about my mom’s resilience, but my dad, before he passed, was an entrepreneur who owned his own business. I always admired him and aspired to be like him. He was well-liked by everyone and had this incredible ability to resolve conflicts and find solutions that made people happy. That combination of hard work, positivity, and the drive to make a difference has shaped my own approach to business.

Being the only one in the room: how have you learned to be effective/successful even when you are the only one in the room that looks like you?
Being a female CEO in a male-dominated industry like Bitcoin mining and data centers, I’ve often found myself in rooms where I’m the only woman. At first, I felt the pressure to prove myself, with people asking a lot of questions to test my knowledge and see if I could really give them the advice they needed. But over the years, I’ve built up both my expertise and my confidence. I’ve learned that being true to myself, being prepared, and knowing my industry deeply means I no longer feel the need to prove myself constantly. Now, I focus on bringing value to the conversation, knowing that I often bring a perspective that others might overlook. And in the end, I’ve come to see that my unique perspective isn’t a hurdle—it’s an advantage.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

As the CEO of Voltique, I lead a company that has become a one-stop shop for Bitcoin mining, serving a wide range of customers, from individual enthusiasts to large-scale operators. Our mission goes beyond simply selling equipment; we focus on truly understanding our customers’ needs and supporting them every step of the way. We care deeply about our customers’ success, and we’re committed to delivering premium products and exceptional service that help them achieve their goals in the evolving world of cryptocurrency.

Voltique’s focus on the customer sets us apart. We take the time to understand their unique requirements, offering custom-made products tailored to their operations. Our goal is not just to sell equipment but to build long-term relationships with our clients by helping them grow their businesses. We’re currently working on expanding our offerings in hosting services for Bitcoin miners, which will give our clients even more opportunities to optimize their operations.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

While my MBA from New York has been valuable, the real game-changers in my journey have been three things:

1. Self-Improvement:
I’m a big believer in constant learning, especially through books. It’s kept me inspired, adaptable, and always ready for new challenges. My advice? Never stop learning—there’s always a fresh idea waiting to push you forward.

2. Mind Training:
Meditation has helped me stay calm and clear-headed, no matter what’s happening around me. For anyone starting out, mastering your mindset can be the key to handling stress and making smart decisions under pressure.

3. Building Relationships:
The most rewarding part of my role has been building strong relationships with customers, partners, and my team. Genuine connections create trust, and trust can open doors, build loyalty, and get you through the toughest times.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?

The most impactful thing my parents did for me was teaching me the importance of budgeting and saving. My mom made sure I understood how to set aside money for future bills and unexpected expenses. That lesson has been invaluable, especially as a business owner. There have been times when the company faced tough periods with really low revenue, but having money set aside for those “rainy days” allowed us to weather the storm and keep moving forward. It’s a lesson I carry with me every day, and it’s made all the difference.
