Meet Kelly Roach

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Kelly Roach a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Kelly with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

Discipline stems from desire. When you have a strong desire to create a better life for yourself, your family, and future generations, you naturally focus on the path to making that a reality. It’s this desire that fuels the discipline and work ethic needed to achieve big dreams, build a better future, and create lasting opportunities for the next generation.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

What is most special about everything that I do as one of the world’s leading business growth strategists and mentors for entrepreneurs around the globe is that we really truly focus on leading with human connection.
Also, what we call the Care More Model is all about really focusing on the experience and outcome for our clientele, prioritizing client experience, and continuous improvement in the delivery and execution of how we lead our customers to success.
So, every decision that we make is in alignment with prioritizing customization. We are custom tailoring the experience and really making sure that each person’s strategy and path to success is as unique as they are and is truly supportive and in alignment with their mission, vision, and goals.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The most important and impactful qualities, I would say, are:

First, resilience—the ability to move from failure to failure without losing your passion, vision, or mission.

Second, building a positive relationship with failure and recognizing how crucial it is for learning the lessons and gaining the insights necessary for success.

Third, taking accountability—complete ownership and responsibility for your life and the outcomes you want to create.

I believe these three—resilience, your relationship with failure, and taking full accountability—are the key factors that help anyone navigate challenges and achieve high levels of success.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?

For growth over the last 12 months, I’ve always been flexible and adaptable. But with the way markets and the economy have shifted, it’s required a whole new level of flexibility and leadership.

My biggest improvement over the last 12 months has been my ability to embrace flexibility and step into new levels of leadership. This has allowed me to better support my team in adapting and evolving to succeed in today’s rapidly changing market.
