We were lucky to catch up with Wilnice & Wilnique Denley recently and have shared our conversation below.

Wilnice & Wilnique, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.

When we focus on the background of our purpose and the reasons why we create, we find that we never experience artist’s block or creative burnout. We paint and create works of art, sometimes on Saturday and Sunday nights, completely losing track of time without any problems, just spending our weekends creating. This energy of creativity sparks the depths of our souls and fuels our passions to go above and beyond in our works each and every time. We keep our creativity alive by being fully present within and meditating while focusing on our heart space to see what our inner child wants to bring forth to the light. We have a spot on our rooftop called “our creative spot” where we hang out and watch the sunsets, feeling the deep serenity of being out in nature; feeling the pure excitement talking about our next big, miraculous, enchanting works of art we might create next. We are both very supportive of each other in our creative endeavors, making sure to encourage and lift one another up with loving words of affirmation and emotional support. We love egging each other on, talking about the different perspectives and add-ons to our work that feel really magnificent and satisfying to our hearts and souls.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

We chose the name ”Identical Eternal Suns” to represent us because we are Identical twins, and we are a heart-based union devoted to our soul mission and life’s work. Our twin bond is supernatural. ”Eternal suns” means that our spirit lives on for eternity; we are consistently shining bright forever. Our name exalts our unique self-expression and how we deliver, infuse, and integrate light into the world using our artworks as a form of playful, vivid colorful communication, and whimsical fantastical imagination that whispers to the inner child within our hearts. We’ve always wanted to become creative artists who uplift others into a higher frequency of light and happiness. We, as twin sisters, create artwork that evokes feelings of extreme excitement, unbridled enthusiasm, and heart healing. Our collaborative efforts together result in innovative whimsical artworks and uplifting pieces that spread optimism and positivity. we aspire to uplift the frequency of the hearts of others through our artworks by whispering messages of innocence, lightheartedness, and sweetness. We utilize our playfully childlike meticulously detailed artworks as a healing modality that mends the hearts and spirits of others. Our work expresses visual and non-verbal communication to convey the heart’s deeper spiritual meanings and the eternal soul’s beauty. To express the beauty of the human soul in this realm we live in.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

As creative twin artists, we highly value having a strong foundation and purpose that uplifts and elevates those around us. We believe that having a higher power, whether it’s God or another source, guides our lives in ways that benefit all people. We are deeply committed to our art career and strive to connect with our community every day, fostering a strong bond with those who find inspiration in our work.

For those at the beginning of their journey, we advise taking time for introspection by talking to God about their heartfelt desires. Journaling can open a path to the answers the soul seeks, while prayer and meditation have provided us with profound clarity on our life’s purpose and artistic journey. It’s important to be honest with yourself about what truly ignites your passion. Reflecting on your childhood and recalling the things that brought you joy can provide clues about your future path.

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?

Our parents have always instilled in us sovereignty, diligence, hard work, and dedication. The most impactful thing our parents ingrained in us is having a prayer life. We used to write scriptures and our dreams on the wall so we could be reminded of our goals and what we were striving to achieve in our lives as children. Our parents were our biggest supporters in everything we did. They were strict, but in a loving way because they wanted the best for us. They taught us how important it is to truly believe in ourselves and have the confidence and resilience to make our dreams come true. They encouraged us always to never be distracted and to remain focused, to never give up on our heart’s desire. We love them and we owe it all to them.
