Meet Tyler Browne

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tyler Browne. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Tyler, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

I have a strong sense of obligation and my faith teaches me to work like I am working for God and not just one person
‘s

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I have always been an entertainer and having the honor to be able to do that is a blessing.

I am currently hosting and singing for Live Band Karaoke LA twice a month at The Barrel Room at Pocock Brewery in Valencia.

The LA Cult (tribute to The Cult) will be performing Friday, November 1 at Universal Bar and Grill Studio City as well as Saturday, November 2 at Dia De Los Muertos Music and Arts Festival in City of Commerce with Nowhere Fast (Smiths Tribute)

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

My favorite singers were always an inspiration and I spent hours copying their vocal styles. These include David Cassidy, Steven Tyler, Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Marc Bolan, Ian Astbury, and Chris Cornell I also felt going back and listening to their influences provided historical knowledge as well as exposure to new artists and genres. This also gave me an opportunity to be inspired to write with a more expounded reference.

How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?

Having an almost tenor voice as a female who identifies not quite female as a performer and not really being a fit musically for most rock genres. Would love to do an original Acid Rock or Indie Psyche project with a Southern Metal twist. Just really hard to find players with that flavor, let alone anyone interested in anything other than straight metal.. Waiting on God, so always keeping my eye out!
