Jet Just Landed, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

By completely putting my self in one place mentally: If I don’t do it, someone else will do it for me. If I do it, it could be the greatest thing ever.

God developed me to have the integrity and ability to motivate myself by allowing me to fall and grow strength in getting back up.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Hailing from the heart of Metro Detroit, Michigan, Jeffrey Stephen Daniels, known as Jet Just Landed, is a rising star who’s reshaping the music scene with his unique sound. Influenced by trailblazers like Kanye West and Travis Scott, he’s on a mission to captivate hearts and minds through his artistry.

Drawing inspiration from the genre-blurring genius of Kanye West, Jet fearlessly defies conventions, seamlessly fusing elements from various genres. His music echoes the spirit of innovation that Detroit is known for, setting him apart as a true musical visionary.

With a stage presence reminiscent of Travis Scott’s electrifying performances, Jet commands attention with every note he delivers. His dynamic presence and infectious energy turn every performance into an unforgettable experience.

Beyond the suburban scene, Jet embodies the stories, dreams, and aspirations of Detroit. Through his music, he paints a vivid portrait of life outside the city, making his listeners feel like they’re right there with him on every journey.

As he continues to fuse the influences of inspo’s with his own creative brilliance, Jet Just Landed is poised to leave an indelible mark on the music world. Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Failing at something I wanted, or not even seeing the result I wanted to see was the biggest push I could have in elevating my drive.

Failing to sell out two 400-seat shows in my highschool auditorium my senior year, after selling out an 800-seat auditorium in 11th grade, nearly broke me. Made me mad.

I said to myself that I’d never let the numbers affect me like that again. My drive has to be directly for the art.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

This may seem like a very “goodie” type of answer…. But truthfully the Bible has been the most influential book in my life. From the book of Matthew diving into Jesus’ life, to psalms giving directions on how to live a life perfectly for God, I’ve held it close to me.
