We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Cathleen Celaya Simmons, Nicole Dines And Jordan Santoro All Together. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Cathleen Celaya Simmons, Nicole Dines and Jordan Santoro below.
Hi Cathleen Celaya Simmons, Nicole Dines and Jordan Santoro, thank you so much for opening up with us about some important, but sometimes personal topics. One that really matters to us is overcoming Imposter Syndrome because we’ve seen how so many people are held back in life because of this and so we’d really appreciate hearing about how you overcame Imposter Syndrome.
Everyone deals with imposter syndrome at some point in their career. We are so lucky that we have three founders of Unorganized Home because we continuously get to remind each other “blinders up.” If we just keep doing what we know how to do, we keep making clients lives easier, keep making those connections to people, and keep moving forward with a company that we believe is doing good for ourselves and others, then imposter syndrome has no where to thrive. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, it just means we do our best every day to keep each other focused on the job ahead.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Well at first glance we are Unorganized Home, a group of professional home organizers here in LA. But behind that fun facade of perfect pantries and closets we are three best friends who decided to start a brand together. Our lives are intertwined with one another in regards to almost everything. Family life and passions all laid out on the table to make this dream a reality. Full transparency, we love being together and that is a big reason why this all works. Sometimes we spend two entire days just in a primary closet, so it’s literally a requirement to want to be close to each other.
Side note, we have been known to be called comedians so if you want a happy group coming in to make your home feel dialed, filed and styled and then look no further. We just did Kamie Crawfords podcast “Relationshit” and organized Ashley Tisdales new home…we would love an unscripted show at some point! Doesn’t hurt to manifest your dreams!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three qualities or skills that made our journey successful: Trust, determination, friendship and a bonus, charisma.
Advice: Don’t do it alone. Ask everyone you know and love for advice, feedback, support where and when you need it. Find your team. People who believe in you without a doubt. Second, take the risk! Even before you are ready. Some say we are never ready but when you jump, the opportunities arise.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
We love a collaboration. We are constantly on the hunt for unique partnerships and ones that fit our lifestyle and brand. We recently just did a partnership with Aloha Protein Bars and since we were already a fan (Nicole’s dad eats them every day), that was an easy yes. We organize in kitchens and pantries every week, so of course finding food and beverage brands we like is a dream. Since we consider Unorganized Home a wellness brand–being organized helps with stress and productivity–partnering with brands that keep us healthy and properly nutritioned is top of our list. Brands like Sakara, Lemme Vitamins, Pete’s Real Food, or Kin Euphorics.
We also love traveling and making beautiful spaces even more beautiful, so we would love to get into boutique hotels like Silverlake Pool & Inn, Petite Ermitage, Cara Hotel, Santa Monica Proper, and some in Palm Springs like Le Horizon and Avalon Hotels. Fun fact, Cathleen got married at Le Horizon 13 years ago, but hasn’t been back since it was fully remodeled.
In terms of people, we always love a good collaboration with people who have similar values as we do and are just plain fun to be around. If you have good energy, like to laugh and find worth in a good organized space, then we are your team! We have so many dream clients, ones that we would die to work with would include Maya Rudolph, Jennifer Lawrence, Will Ferrell, Chelsea Handler, and Emma Grede.
