Meet Rebecca Strobl

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rebecca Strobl. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Rebecca , we’ve been so fortunate to work with so many incredible folks and one common thread we have seen is that those who have built amazing lives for themselves are also often the folks who are most generous. Where do you think your generosity comes from?

The greatest source of my generosity comes from the example of my Savior and best friend. He continues to share the gifts of transformation, restoration, and hope in my life.

Several people in my life have inspired me to live a lifestyle of generosity. They shared gifts of their love, energy, resources, and belief in my ability to accomplish great things.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I enjoy hiking, fishing, and traveling with my husband, Dr. Gary Strobl of twenty-four years.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The three things that have continued to guide my journey mirror my core values.

– Kindness
– Uniqueness
– Positivity

Our world is often filled with hate, violence, and excessive focus on ourselves. We forget the power of kindness in people’s lives, including ours. In my book, New Day Inspirations: A Poetry Journey which will be published early this December, I talk about how we need to forgive ourselves regarding my poem “Grace”. We need to show kindness to our minds and bodies. Then we will feel refreshed to share kindness with others.

Each of us has unique skills, talents, and perspectives. The more we appreciate these individual characteristics, the more we can collaborate. Then our dreams can take flight and we can accomplish amazing things.

Our mindset must remain positive, choosing faith over fear. We need to smile more and frown less.

Dr. Earlexia Norwood, M.D. in her article “Surprising health benefits of smiling” (https://www.henryford.com/blog/2017/10/health-benefits-smiling) explains as we smile, our bodies release cortisol and endorphins. These key hormones release enriches our bodies and lives with the following beneifts:

😁 Decreases blood pressure
😁 Lowers pain.
😁 Relieves stress.
😁 Increases our endurance.
😁 Empowers our immune system.
😁 Makes us more friendly, gracious, capable, and considerate.
😁 Enables us to be more productive at work.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

My security colleague, Keith Oringer whose encouraging words to focus the entirety of my professional career on my company, New Day Education and Motivation assisted in fueling my current full-time entrepreneurial journey. His decades of friendship and mentorship were a tremendous blessing as I forged my corporate security sales career within the challenging security industry.
