We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Lexi Lebaron a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Lexi, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
These weren’t the skills we were taught in school growing up. That’s what we do over here at Lexi’s School of Life. We learn the vital life skills never taught in school. Our purpose is to try to teach these skills at a young age so our kids can thrive through life equipped with the toolbox of skills they need.
How it all started for me? Throw back to junior high. I was sitting in a chair, my mom doing my hair for school, and I could not stop complaining. My hair wasn’t long enough, my skin wasn’t clear, I wasn’t fit enough, my clothes weren’t cute, I didn’t think I could make the team, I didn’t have a ‘best friend’ and the list rolled on as I talked out loud to my mom all my complaints of myself. My mom intensely set down the blowdryer catching my attention and responded, “I will not continue to listen to you speak to yourself this way!” She then went on to teach me the power of my mind and thoughts. She had been through her own battle of depression and anxiety. Sharing her story and introducing me to the power of my mind, changed my world. I could not get enough.
Studying the power of my mind, thoughts, and how I speak to myself, from such a young age boosted my confidence through the roof. I knew I was in the drivers seat that controlled my confidence and self-esteem. How others thought of me began to have less pull. It didn’t consume my thoughts anymore. I knew the power was in how I thought.
From then on, until this day I live by this thought: What we think others are thinking about us is made up, might as well make it good!
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Hi I’m Lexi! I’m a licensed teacher with a degree in education.
After years of studying our educational curriculum, I realized, just like you, that it needed to change. From teaching kids to teens, I recognized their desperate need for more. They faced common struggles, but lacked the tools to tackle them. Our educational curriculum also lacked these essential tools. So, where could they turn? I set out to fix that. What I’ve been eager to announce is finally here and available! Every teen deserves this curriculum that is now available. Not only do they deserve this, but their future is begging for it.
In this course, they will finally receive these crucial tools. I carefully studied the needs of our outstanding teens and tailored a curriculum specifically for them. Imagine if you had been given all the tools you’ve learned as an adult during your teenage years… how much further ahead could you have launched yourself? What pitfalls could you have avoided? How much more optimistic could your life have been, and how would your relationships have improved? This new and improved curriculum will take you to the next unlimited level, no matter where you currently stand.
ONE INTENSIVE YEAR.
Teaching teens the answers to each of their struggles in one intensive, life-changing year! Finally learn the vital life tools never taught in school. Here, they can achieve a thriving life without a second thought. Let’s do it!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
#1- Your mind!
Master your brain, master your life. We are in the driver seat up there, not the other way around. What you think about, you bring about. Practice, join us for help and tools!
#2- Daily routine!
Who we are is truly found in our daily routine. Who do you want to be? Check in on what you do daily. That is who we are becoming. If you want to change anything, start with things you do daily. That has the biggest impact.
#3- It’s never too late!
This is a belief in our home! Its never too late or too early to learn the skills we need to to thrive. We love saving the teens and young adults here but the more we reach we realized it effects the whole family. Parents are learning too. Wherever you are in life, its never too late to learn a new hobby, master a new skill, take voice lessons, learn to dance, start a mom club, grow some muscles, overcome that wall, whatever it is, you can do it now! So take the time to.
Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?
As mentioned before in my story, my mom introduced me to the power of my mind and that introduction changed my life.
Your influence on others can change a course or trajectory of someone’s life. Is there a nugget someone shared with you once that you have never forgotten? Did someone introduce you to your favorite hobby? Maybe a book that changed your life?
We have the power to leave ripple effects in others lives. That is what we hope to do here at Lexi’s School of Life. Please bring all the teens and young adults or parents of teens and young adults here. We are here to save their lives and give them all the tools they need! So then they can leave ripple effects for years to come.
You never know how living your life is effecting others lives. Live up to your full potential so that you can go on to leave the biggest impact you can. Equip yourself with all the tools you need to live life to the max. Living life to the max I have learned is in the daily 1%. What is one thing each day, how can I turn towards the trajectory I desire to go by 1%. It is needed. There are others waiting for your arrival, your story, your journey. You need it and they need it. We are constantly leaving footprints in others lives. Just like my mom did for me with just a little introduction.
Where will your journey not only take you but the others who are watching?
