Meet Logan Lynn

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Logan Lynn. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Logan, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I think I am still finding this, but each time I create something that ends up working or mattering somehow, helps me feel like my being here is useful. That usefulness is the key to my sticking around, continuing to create, and wanting to keep engaging community impact opportunities.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I am a musician and songwriter, who has been producing and releasing music since the mid-1990s. I’m also a filmmaker with a history in TV.

All of this fuels my community work, which often finds me utilizing Hollywood and the music industry in the direction of LGBTQ+ people, folks navigating mental and behavioral health challenges, and human rights.

My new record SOFTCORE was just released on legendary record label Kill Rock Stars this year alongside a short film by the same name.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Tenacity, talent, and delusion. It’s important to not accept the status quo, it’s even more important to be able to deliver on the work you set out to do, and it takes a heaping scoop of deluded to believe it’s all going to be possible.

How would you describe your ideal client?

I always like working with people who care about other people and how our work will affect their lives, loves, and families.

If you don’t care about others, I likely don’t care about you.
