We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Ariel a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Ariel , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
Iv always loved art and creating ever since I was a child. My mom always encouraged me to do what I loved to follow my heart. As I grew up I started to see things old and left behind collecting it over time to find a better use for it. Along with that I adored life after death concept of not being forgotten. Once I was a bit older I started to realize the amazing things I had collected over time and wanted to give it new life. From there on out I never stopped creating because I always saw the beauty in everything I touched.
Even now I see everything has a purpose and a form to be adored as art.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
My brand and style embodies a sense of high value and sophistication, offering fine art oddities and creations that enhance both personal spaces and individual style.
Each piece is handmade with love and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every item is a unique and exquisite work of art.
My creations are designed not just for me, but for my true supporters—those who appreciate the beauty and individuality of wearing my jewelry or displaying my artwork in their homes. I strive to create pieces that inspire a sense of beauty and elevate everyday experiences.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Understanding the quality and value of materials is essential for ensuring stability and longevity in my work. Through a process of trial and error, I’ve learned to ask questions and seek answers that lead to satisfying results. Always be open to learning new techniques and methods.
When creating for others, the beauty lies in offering unique options. However, it’s crucial not to lose your own artistic identity in the process.
I often remind myself and others, “You need to start somewhere to get somewhere.” This mantra drives my commitment to growth and exploration in my craft.
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I’m always eager to connect with like-minded artists to explore new ideas and opportunities. My work extends beyond jewelry and oddities; I’m interested in collaborating with fashion designers, photographers, 3D artists, models, musicians, art galleries, and more.
I welcome the chance to learn from the incredible people in my life, as their creativity motivates and inspires me to grow as an artist.
