Meet Taylor-Brinaé

We recently connected with Taylor-Brinaé and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Taylor-Brinaé , thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

I get my work ethic from my parents. They are the hardest working people, yet they always find time to be there for me whenever I need them. And always show me how to work smart and how greatness comes from working hard.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am a singer, actress, dancer, and content creator. My mom always says I’ve been singing since I was 2yrs old. I started making real vocals at 4 years old and singing on stages at 5/6 years old.
There’s a video of me on my YouTube channel Taylor Brinae Sings acting like I’m singing something in a microphone, but it sounds like a mumbling melody, it’s so cute and funny. I told my parents that I want to be a famous singer when I grow up.
So now I’m headed towards my dream. I started a Learning Education series on my YouTube channel. The first song and visual that’s out now is called “Learn Your Sight Words” I have more coming for that series on my youtube channel, so make sure you subscribe. I have also released 2 songs on all streaming platforms. One is called “Louder” and the other one is called “Be Good In School”! I’m so excited about my new single dropping November 9th it’s called “Don’t Cry” it’s a song about my personal experience being bullied. This song empowered me and I want it to empower other kids and adults too. People can say what they want to say, but it doesn’t matter when you know who you are inside, you are beautiful and you can overcome being bullied, so Don’t Cry. Hopefully this encourages people to stop bullying. I am also releasing a short film along with the song November 9th as well. I can’t wait for the world to hear this song and see the short film. My music is about positive things, feeling good about yourself, never giving up, stop bullying and having fun learning. I want kids and adults to feel happy and inspired when they see me sing and hear my music.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Well I wouldn’t be looking back that far lol, but I would say I have learned how important it is to go after your dream and work hard and never give up even when it gets hard sometimes. My dad always says in order to get to greatness, you have to work for it.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?

Whenever I feel overwhelmed my parents taught to pray and ask God to help me be calm and have peace. Or sometimes I put on worship music or my favorite songs and sing, that calms me down too.
