Meet Tabitha Alexander-Ball

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tabitha Alexander-Ball. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tabitha below.

Hi Tabitha, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
“Your success will be determined by your own Confidence and Fortitude”. A powerful quote by former First Lady Michelle Obama. I remember growing up in the 90’s watching Halle Berry, Nia Long, Vivica Fox and Queen Latifah on television. If you was a size 10 and above you were considered plus size. I never looked at myself as plus size or chubby wearing a size 11. I was just young and thick. I was very athletic, I played volleyball, basketball and softball. Often I was teased, called names like fat and chubby by smaller female classmates. Of course it hurt my feelings at that time, but it also fueled me on the inside. Real true Beauty starts from within. Your Heart, Character, your Soul and how you treat others is what’s important. Who cares what others think of you. What do you see when you look in the mirror is what my mom use to say. Confidence gives you positive energy, with energy comes determination, when determined you’re capable of achieving any goal you set. God has equipped us all with qualities and talents. Once you have the ability to recognize and tap into your talents, believe in yourself, you will be unstoppable.
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him”
Jeremiah 17:7

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Enthusiasm&Personal drive: You have to be interested in whatever it is you want to pursue in life to be fully invested and give 100%.

Listen&Always pay attention to detail: Listening to understand ones perspective other than your own. “The success of any production depends on the attention paid to detail”

Communication: Sharing ideas, thoughts, opinions, and knowledge so the message is received and understood with clarity and purpose.

Work hard for what you want in life. Go after your dreams and what you love. Never let no one discourage you. Listen and be willing to learn new skills and knowledge that will help you prosper and your business to grow. Always pay attention to details, it’s the little things that sets you apart. Little things makes big things happen. “Communication is your ticket to success, if you pay attention and learn to do it effectively”.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
“The person who challenges you and holds you accountable Loves you more than the person who lets you stay the same and settle for less”. I’m so grateful to my late Grandmother Iowa McNancy Alexander she was a master seamstress who taught me about Integrity, Class and Grace. My Beautiful mother for showing me what Style and Confidence is and what it looks like. I’m so grateful to my Loving Husband. His patience, his strength, his love, his desire to see me flourish, prosper, be successful and shine. Thank you husband for your wisdom, for always holding me accountable and pushing me higher. My number one fan, my therapist, my photographer, setup team, personal driver, advisor, personal chef, my all around biggest supporter. Thank you Bestfriend for everything and more…Love You
