Meet Matthew Yeandle

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Matthew Yeandle. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Matthew, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

Growing up i watched my Grandparents and parents work to build familys and businesses with diligence. As a young man i embraced my entrepreneurial qualities building on my dreams and talents through education, hard work and exploration.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

What excites me is creating beauty.
I have been working in an array of multi faceted mediums since my youth.
My love of the arts started as a child, living in New York City, where i spent the larger sum of my time drawing and painting fashion portraits of Vogue covers and illustrations from fashion magazines using everything from pencil, charcoal, Ink, water color, oil, acrylic, airbrushing, including creating large scale murals. At the age of 17 i embarked on a journey into the beauty business.
My Love for Photography evolved while hired to style the hair and do the makeup on models and actors and musicians for some of the most famous photographers in the world. In the latter part of my career i began creating my own imagery, coming full circle in an industry that i love.
I feel blessed to be a creator and have had the privilege to work with so many other talented people sharing and learning and mastering my own craft!
I currently have at least 3 shows a year or more to showcase my most current photography.
I will be having a big show in February in PB featuring more of my under water photography, which i am very excited about.
Aside from my focus on Art imagery, i shoot for Jewelry and clothing companies and do personal portraits and magazine editorials aswell.
Prints of my work can be viewed and purchased on my site. www.photographybymatt.net

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The qualities i feel where very important to developing my skills and knowledge and successes where always listen to the person i am working for or with, understanding there concerns and perspectives and ideas about what we are collaborating on.
Be prepared prior to any project. Have an open mind and be flexible.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

I am always looking for models to photograph, for my many projects. i can be contacted via my instagram @beautybymatt_
or via my websites www.beautybymattmedia.com or www.Photographybymatt.net
