Meet Lynne Pohrman

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Lynne Pohrman. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Lynne, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?

A good friend of mine told me I like you because you think outside the box. I never realized that I did that until he said that.
It inspired me to do that many times when obstacles presented themselves.
Also to listen to my intuition even if my brain was saying no.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

We are a family business for over 30 years. I bought a Flower shop when my children were young and now as adults work with me.
We have a unique store as we are a full service florist also featuring bakery and a coffee shop. We send unique gifts of flowers, gifts, bakery trimmed with flowers and coffee gifts as well.
We have a cute coffee shop in the back of our building with a cute funky feel our customers love. It’s a fun place to visit with florals coffee and bakery smells.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Determination
Curiosity
Love what you do

Any advice for folks feeling overwhelmed?

This too shall pass.
Think positive with a smile on your face.
All will work out.
