Meet Allison Maslan

We were lucky to catch up with Allison Maslan recently and have shared our conversation below.

Allison, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

I believe my purpose found me rather than me finding it. It was an evolution of life experiences that created deep wisdom and ultimately aligned with my values. I felt experienced and transformed enough through these experiences to want to give back.

A purpose, at its highest degree, is when you share it with others and pay it forward. Throughout all the businesses I’ve had, the ups, downs, lessons, and resilience developed in the process have given me a rich journey to share. As I do that, it continues to create momentum, attracting others with a similar purpose and vision. Then, your purpose reaches many more people. To me, that’s what life’s all about.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

My name is Allison Maslan, CEO and founder of Pinnacle Global Network, where we work with successful business owners who want to fast-track their success, scale their business, and have a more freedom-filled life. We work with CEOs all over the world and have helped over 150,000 businesses scale over the past 15 years. I am incredibly passionate about helping business owners step into the highest version of themselves and make their big vision a reality. I’m the Wall Street Journal best-selling author of Scale or Fail, endorsed by Daymond John and Barbara Cochran of Shark Tank.

My team of close to 40 seasoned CEOs and I use a proven process with our clients, called the SCALEit Method, which has the tools and strategies CEOs across all industries need to help multiply the growth of their businesses, reach, and number of people they can serve.

Pinnacle Global Network is my tenth company, and I love it because I get to take all of the wisdom from the companies I’ve built and pay it forward by sharing the lessons I’ve learned along the way to help make the road easier for others.

Our Scale It Live Event is happening on February 13th, 2025, in Pasadena, CA. For three days, CEOs from all corners of the world will spend time with some of the top business leaders worldwide and my team to create scaling plans for the entire year.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

I grew up in an entrepreneurial family, and that was very helpful. That was all I knew. I wasn’t good at holding a job, so I had to figure out this entrepreneurial thing. For those on the journey, you’ve got to build a ‘figure-outable’ muscle. What I mean is there’s always a way through. So you never take no for an answer. No doesn’t mean no; no means you’ve got to come up with a new way of presenting something, a new way to position it, a new idea, a new opportunity to open the door.

Challenges are a gift in many cases because they force you to zero in, get creative, and find a solution. Often, that solution is better than what you wanted to happen before. You’ve got to try new things when something isn’t working, and usually, that new thing is better than the original.

These lessons can also help you become more resilient. Having the drive and persistence and not giving up will help you believe to your core that it’s going to happen. Once you decide on something you want to create in your life and your business, you have to know what will happen because if you believe it to your core, then you’ll take the steps to do it. You won’t avoid it; you’ll keep moving forward.

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?

I’ve had so many incredible mentors in my life that I’m so grateful for along the way. First, my dad was probably my biggest inspiration. He was an entrepreneur to his core, very passionate about business. I learned from watching him to be innovative and to go after things. I never saw him back down. He also treated people with respect, whether they were taxi drivers or heads of state, the same way. Humility, I think, is extremely important.

I’ve had other incredible mentors since then. I always like to learn from people who have walked the journey before me to help me see what I’m not seeing. When you are building a business, it’s lonely at the top, and you only see the things you’re used to seeing. It’s hard to see new solutions, and you might have a million-dollar opportunity or solution at your feet. Still, you’re so focused on a certain way because we are creatures of habit. It helps to have somebody who is not emotionally connected who can say, “Hey, have you thought about doing it this way?” and “What do you think about shifting this over here or approaching it this way?” This can open the door to a whole new world. I am a big believer in mentorship, which is one of the many reasons we do this at Pinnacle Global Network.
