Meet Paul Birdsong

We were lucky to catch up with Paul Birdsong recently and have shared our conversation below.

Paul , thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?

My Father, he had a simple philosophy pertaining to life, “if it can’t be done, do it anyway”.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I’m an activist, I’m national ambassador of the Panther Party. I stand for the protection of the black man woman and child by any means necessary and I work in the community consistently and continuously to make sure that our communities are safer and better for our people. I’m also a recording artist. I have projects coming out with dipset, Gucci mane, Rick ross, Jadakiss, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg and many more. While these artists and I have different viewpoints on life the one similarity we all have is hip hop and I’m grateful that I have the opportunity to work with them to use their Fame to promote my platform. Look for multiple projects coming out this year alone.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

I believe that knowing what you stand for is the foundation for your entire life.

I believe that understanding that we are all connected to one another and affected by one another’s decisions or lack thereof is essential to maintaining and honest moral compass.

I believe your work ethic should always be in competition with your achievements.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
