We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Caitlin Permenter & Constance Hampton a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Caitlin Permenter & Constance Hampton , we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
I must say our resilience bounces off each other me and my bestie Constance Hampton are the definition of strength and power wrapped together as one!
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Well we both wear a lot of hats! The newest one is Podcast host we launch our new show entitled tea with the bestie where we are talking about everything from relationships to fashion to education and music. We have also crossed over into the real estate industry and inflatable bars and tent rental. Something we would want people to know about us that we both have worked hard to get where we are as single individuals and as best friends that we both choose to trust each other when the odds of genuine people seem to be slim to known.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Looking back the three qualities that we both had was the ability to hear even when the other one wasn’t talking. That’s a skill set within it self. Trusting each other judgement even if we don’t agree about a topic for a show or a purchase of a property it’s knowing who is strong in the decision making process by being able to look at the whole picture!
Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
Hands down Constance has been my right hand that’s why she is the best business partner and bestie. It’s the constant reminder of you got this or we got this that makes the difficult days worth it!
