Meet Jasmine Lynn

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jasmine Lynn a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

JASMINE, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?

I was a teen mom and had to grow up quick in certain ways. I didn’t want to dropout of high school so I had to figure out how to be a mom while going to school.

I had a very supportive family whom, without them would have made my life that much harder!
But life quickly taught me that I need to learn balance while building a sustainable life.

So I did graduate and make it to college. Graduating from Marist with a bachelor’s degree. Life continued to throw curveballs at me that always kept me building and growing.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

whats my story?
I get asked this alot

and my story kinda started in my thirties when i was getting sick and tired of the mundane and wanted to live a different life with different strategies,…. I was working as a caseworker in the local nursing home and my bigger goals just seemed so far-fetched…

I wanted to be a photographer.
I always felt i had an organic interest in photography and I wasn’t sure that it was even a thing for people like me…

nevertheless fast forwarding to the last decade in shooting photography full time, running a boudoir studio and increasing my revenue every year that I’ve been in business has made me believe more and more that anything is possible!

being a boudoir photographer has changed so many aspects of my life.. Not only have I felt the influence from being a boudoir photographer but Ive been just as influenced by the people who support my business and vibe with my energy.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

THE MOST IMPACTFUL for me has been the ability to keep adapting to the new technologies and the markets. Lets face we live in these ever-changing societies and being able to deliver quality while you are intentionally trying to grow… then you are golden.

Stay focused on the goal. I feel like it’s easy to get lost in the sauce of people’s opinions and negativity and perceived competition. Your brand is your vibe…its how clients connect with you!

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?

when i feel overwhelmed…

I start to isolate… and its been helpful!

I regain focus and confidence when I mute the noise.
I also journal to help with my manifesting process and I spend time with myself. Taking care of my mental health always brings me clarity..

Its been more of a ritual and a lifestyle to periodically isolate and refocus!
