Meet Molly Brindle

We recently connected with Molly Brindle and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Molly, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

The year 2020 was pivotal for me, not because it ended my long career in media and corporate partnership sales, or due to the pandemic induced fear and isolation. It happened on my living room couch. A spiritual awakening occurred that caused me to pivot radically from the security of a cubicle and paycheck to the free roaming life of a Reiki Master and healing intuitive. For most of my friends, their reaction resembled the cartoon character Scooby Doo – Molly’s now doing WHAT?!?!

Indeed, it’s been a journey, a long, strange trip of mystical occurrences, not so random coincidences, clairaudient messages, and being awakened in the night by energy downloads.

But it’s really, truly beautiful, and nothing compares to this life, even if it lacks profitability! There is no comparison between the high of closing a six figure sports sponsorship deal for my state’s thoroughbred racing association, and the love that pours forth from my heart chakra during a Reiki session.

So, at the late bloomer age of 64, I found my life purpose in 2020!

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

We’re all energy, vibrating at various frequencies, some higher than others, as we take our journey through Earth School! In my Reiki practice, I hone in on the emotional, spiritual and physical levels, asking your Higher Self, spirit guides, angels and loved ones to join in clearing the chakras and energy fields. When appropriate, Spirit comes through with visual or clairaudient insights in the form of metaphors to either confirm a departed relative’s ongoing love for you, and provide some guidance that assures you they’re still present in your life – just not in the physical realm.

Recently, I’ve been called to expand my practice by teaching the Japanese form of natural meditation known as Shinrin-yoku, or Forest Bathing. The healthful benefits of spending time with trees is astounding, and the practice is so simple, and fits beautifully into even the busiest lifestyle.

I’ve completed the first two levels of Bach Flower Essences, using these remedies to heal myself as well as friends and family.

A children’s book, A Balloon for Grandpa, will be self-published early in 2025. This book is designed to help children ages 2 to 8 understand the loss of a loved one, the meaning of grief, and how we heal by sharing memories and feeling their ongoing presence.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

When we are young, and early into our adulthood, there’s a nascent narcissism that helps us gain confidence and hone our identity. I went through this process as well, and well recall calls home to my mother when she’d sharply point out that I hadn’t yet asked how she and my father were faring? Oops! Sad but true.

If we opt to have a family, we quickly learn to place others’ needs before our own, and this is a valuable life lesson.

The stages of life all have lessons to teach us, and when we are able to see ourselves from the bird’s eye, or 360 degree perspective, our awareness helps us grow to be better humans.

There once was a wise old owl. The more he heard, the less he spoke. The less he spoke, the more he heard. This was the wisdom at the bar in The Belvedere Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland, where I “came of age” at 27. Always a late bloomer…

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?

Western culture is very tactile and focused on empirical evidence and science. We love technology. For this reason, convincing someone to try a Reiki session can be challenging, for the concept of energy medicine just doesn’t make sense, and can even be scary.

I have two ways to explain Reiki – and at the outset will ask someone if they have a spiritual practice, or would like to learn the quantum physics explanation! Since I share a birthday with Albert Einstein, I often quote his wisdom, for this brilliant scientist was also a deeply spiritual human.
