Meet Karina Villagomez

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Karina Villagomez. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Karina, thank you so much for joining us and offering your lessons and wisdom for our readers. One of the things we most admire about you is your generosity and so we’d love if you could talk to us about where you think your generosity comes from.

I believe generosity is essential in building strong, ,meaningful relationships, both personally and professionally. Im inspired by those around me and motivated by the idea that by helping others, we create a positive environment for everyone involved. Its always rewarding to support others and contribute to their success whenever possible.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’d be happy to share more about my professional journey. Im a real estate broker with years of experience helping families achieve their dreams of homeownership, which is something I find incredible fulfllling. I’m also the owner of a boutique Lagree fitness studio, where Ive created a welcoming space for people to feel strong and empowered. Both roles allow me to support others in meaningful ways, whether b helping them find a place to call home or fostering a positive, inclusive environment in fitness. Im driven by a passion for building relationships and creating value in the lives of those I work with.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Reflecting on my journey, three qualities stand out as pivotal : resilience, empathy and continues learning. Resilience helped me persevere through challenges , particularly in the competitive fields of real estate and fitness. Empathy allowed me to truly understand and connect with the needs of clients, whether helping a family find their perfect home or creating a welcoming environment at my lagree studio. Finally, a commitment to continuous learning has been invaluable, as both industries are always evolving. My advice for those early in their journey is to embrace these qualities – stay resilient, genuinely care about the people you serve, and always be open to learning. These foundations will guide you, even when the path isn’t always clear.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?

The most impactful thing my parents did for me was instilling a strong work ethic and sense of integrity. They taught me the importance of giving my best effort in everything I do and treating others with respect and honesty. These values have shaped how I approach my work as a real estate broker and business owner. Ive found that putting in the effort and staying true to my principles not only leads to success but also builds lasting, meaningful relationships.
