We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Lauren Gonzales a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Lauren, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
It took alot of ups and downs, alot of challenges, situations where I had to ask myself… what gives me life? Joy?
For me it was always photography. Being able to bottle up time for a moment by creating an image… that to me is so beautiful.
I was able to create an environment within my business that allowed any and all to have a space where they could feel loved, beautiful and appreciated.
My purpose is to make sure that your life, your love and legacy lives on, through our time together.

I’m Lauren, 30 years old. Kansas born and raised!
I’m a mom of three littles and married to my hubby Pete.
I am a full time photographer. I have been operating since 2019, but have been full time for the past year!
Lauren G Photography came to officially be when I decided that I no longer wanted to go back to a normal 9-5 job.
I desperately wanted to stay home with my kiddos and do something that I love.
Currently Lauren G Photography is working with some amazing families for the 2024 holiday season, this fall i had several weddings. It was very busy but such a wonderful experience getting to know my clients and their families!
For any future and past clients for that matter, I want you to know that my goal is to create an environment where you feel like we’ve known eachofher for years! Life is hard and it is my passion to give my clients a chance to step away from the day to day and have a place to relax and play!
For the coming months Lauren G Photography will be doing some fun things for both black friday and christmas, be on the lookout for those!

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
SUCCESS #1 – Success does not happen overnight, and it is not linear. It takes time and hard work to be successful.
Understanding there will be No’s and disappointments and not being thrown off by them but knowing how to move forward.
CONSISTENCY#2 – Consistency is key. Showing up everyday for your clients and yourself is so important to your client base and to yourself! Hold yourself accountable.
PASSION #3 – Being passionate about what you’re doing is so important. . Important because your clients want to see an authentic individual who genuinely cares about them.
Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
My ideal client is someone who is down to earth, loves to have a good time, and trusts the process!
I believe everyone is their own way is beautiful and everyone is so unique, I want my clients to trust and know that when I take your photograph I will capture that.
