We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Alberto Perez . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Alberto below.
Hi Alberto , great to have you with us today and excited to have you share your wisdom with our readers. Over the years, after speaking with countless do-ers, makers, builders, entrepreneurs, artists and more we’ve noticed that the ability to take risks is central to almost all stories of triumph and so we’re really interested in hearing about your journey with risk and how you developed your risk-taking ability.
I feel I developed it because of dropshipping. My interest in dropshipping began in my junior year of high school, a period when I felt I had little choice but to pursue this path. As I dedicated myself to building my dropshipping business, my academic performance suffered significantly. However, I recognized that this venture was my best opportunity for success, which prompted me to take numerous risks. Through this experience, I learned the importance of embracing risk in life. I realized that failure is a part of the journey, but ultimately, these challenges can lead to meaningful rewards.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
My name is Alberto Perez & I was born & raised in Houston Texas. I was born in November 6, 2001. What I do for a career is e-commerce. Dropshipping is the niche where I specialize in when it comes to e-commerce. I started when I was 16 & have made thousands of dollars with it. Most people don’t know what dropshipping is so I’ll explain a little bit more on what it is. You’re basically being the middle man. So you take a product & create a store around it. Make it look like an actual brand & you don’t need to waste money on inventory. You pay when you get an order. I really love this business model because again, you don’t need inventory so the risk is really slim. I been in the game since 2019 so I had my fair share of trial & error. Right now I have my consulting agency “Bands Of Ecom” & recently got into TikTok affiliate.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
It was definitely store creating, marketing & copy writing. As I kept going in my ecom journey I noticed how important those 3 elements where. You want to make sure you create a good online store but what’s truly really important is your marketing. You can have the best product, the best store in the world but if your ad creatives are not up to parr you will not generate any sales. You want to make sure you get your creatives down as well. Those 3 elements are key on seeing success in dropshipping but like I said earlier, your ad creatives are by far the most important in my opinion.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
Usually I don’t take just any clients. I look for clients that are determined & that have ambition. I dislike when my time gets wasted so most of the times when I’m about to take a client in I ask them questions to see if they’re a good fit for my mentoring program. I have a lot of successful clients for example Vicente Guerrero & Tony Magana. They have absolutely killed it in the Ecom game & they know that I always have their back in anything. All of my clients know that I have their backs when it comes to dropshipping. I take full pride when it comes to my work
